- Trains of 2018 is a look back at different trains and locomotives captured during the year, highlighting the changing of the seasons. From snow to rain, hot summer days, foggy mornings and colorful foliage, we take a tour of the railroads throughout the state of Pennsylvania! This is but a small sample videos taken in 2018, so we hope you check out the many in-depth train videos Central Penn Rail Productions has to offer on RUclips!

Thanks for watching and happy new year to everyone!
PLEASE NOTE that several of the clips in this video appear in other uploaded videos-this is mainly a promotional video for new viewers (for our Facebook page) to highlight the different trains in the Central Pennsylvania region and beyond. I was fortunate enough to travel and railfan more this year, so I included some unique clips that were neither on my RUclips nor Facebook page. 2019 will hopefully be a year of a lot more traveling and new videos! You got really good catches, man! A way to move to the wonderful year of 2019! 😊
Loved the variety of trains and locations ! Thank you for another gem.
Thank you!
Thank you again! Hey Happy New Year!
Thanks for watching, Happy New Year!
I have purchased a lot of railway videos over the years, and I can't think of any that are filmed as well as yours, and can be seen for free.
Your choice of locations and staging the shots are perfect and varied. There is always an element of interest to be seen in the surrounding landscapes. Very professional !
Thanks for all you do to provide great videos.
CPRP greatest catches! Nice work! Always a fan!
Great compilation! Happy New Year.
Another spectacular video that captures so many beautiful locations and all the rolling stock any one could want to see. Your camera setups and framing along with your technique make for some unforgettable footage.
Well done, as always, my friend!
Thank you so much!
Great work as always. As much as many of us (myself included) rant about there being less and less interesting stuff to capture trackside, you continue to get some incredible documentation of what is still left. Keep up the good work in 2019!
Thanks a lot! It is getting harder to get motivated to shoot mainline stuff since everything is becoming so uniform, but those shots where nature throws some interesting scenes makes it worth it. Have a great new year!
We watching back in 2021
Excellent video!! Thanks for sharing -Austin
Love some of these shots, and the scenery is really pretty :)
Like the use of "props" in your productions, brings the scene to life.
Nice ones
Cool, nice video
Great video just beautiful
Thanks!
I very love this video! It's Nice!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome stuff, brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
Exellent exellent video trains..!!
Thank you!
18:00 That's my favorite train in 2018. It's a steem locomotive.
Nice video. I wonder if I was on either of those Speta trains that day?
CSX Mountain Sub The Historic West End. I have never seen that before on your channel.
If you are looking for another good place to watch trains go to Stewart street in Trafford. It's private and the rails are busy.
A Pittsburgh area trip would be great, I'd love to do more W&LE around Rook and the AVR, also possibly B&LE if something is running although I'd likely chase them out of Conneaut.
I want to see more CN and NS
CN would be nice; I don't know yet if I will visit any CN lines in 2019 but it's possible!
из-за гудков, не слушно звука дизеля эээххххх. а так спасибо ))) привет из России !)))
Why do E bells work so well on Reading-painted Geeps and that JV SW
You are so lucky because you catches up 1943 at 8:00
Love the reuse of the Milton ? passenger station building. Would be a bit hard doing the paperwork.
It's nice to see old train stations being restored and reused. Sadly there are dozens here in Pennsylvania that are falling apart.
Central Penn Rail Productions same here in Australia. Rural services stop and everything is just left to decay.
Did you spot some et44 or something like this ? I really like these locomotives
Catch of the year at 11:44. 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
1:00 where was this? Looks beautiful on a nice day!
Between Richland and Newmanstown, Pennsylvania on the Norfolk Southern Harrisburg Line.
I saw NS #8100 Nickel Plate Road at Coeburn, VA in 2018. Check that video out.
May i ask what camcorder do you use?, cuz when you shoot these trains the quality is impressive
Sony FDR-AX100. I will probably use this throughout 2019 and hopefully upgrade again at the end of the year!
I want to see more of the Reading line on Norfolk Southern and Reading and northern railroad
That's in the works! I will be visiting the Reading Line throughout 2019 most likely, especially once the days get longer. I have some Reading area R&N footage, still getting some more shots and then the first video will be out (I don't have a date in mind just yet).
@@CentralPennRailProductions Ok thanks
@@CentralPennRailProductions I love your train videos. Can you also do some trains in Hamburg and Walnutport Pa?
I was down in Hamburg a lot this fall for the 425 but I would like to shoot more R&N freight there, probably NRFF and NRWC. I haven't been to Walnutport since 765 ran in 2015 so it would be nice to chase a train on the Upper Lehigh Line again!
@@CentralPennRailProductions Ok thanks again
And Hotspots along NS and CSX. Not on the same day obviously.
Hi wassup
K5lla on a dash 9 engine??🔥
I know! I one caught NS GP40-2 3048 with a K5LLA, it used to have a P3 but it was terribly fouled. Perhaps I can do a train horns video featuring those oddballs.
1:15 where was that taken at?
West Reading from the Candlewood Suites hotel parking area.
