As a fan of post-apocalyptic themes. I fell in love with Metro at first sight. Just playing it in Commando with little ammunition, little hud and running along the surface in search of a filter and bullets with time against the clock. I seriously love the metro saga and its books.

The book this game was based on was by far one of the most interesting reads I’ve done, really captured that desolate feel and horror at times

Man I could go on about these games. The books too. I never cared for resource management games but the way Metro did this was enjoyable and actually fun. Like one moment I’m wondering if I have enough shells to take on some watchmen or if I have enough filters to look for some more filters. And the story? Wonderful. I like how it’s dark but there are glimpses of hope

Picked up metro 2033 for free on Playstation and absolutely loved the game. Then I went and got last light right after that, played that and loved that one even more. Then right after that picked up, Exodus. And let's just say after playing all three games consecutively within a two week period. It felt like I was playing a completely different game and was not good at all. Was so disappointed by that.

I remember when I first played this game. I got stuck on the part where you are in the library and I quit after that. I still loved the game up until that point 😀

Remember years ago coming across the game but not being able to play due to a weak PC, read the books instead and was hooked. Now after all these years and I can safely say that this franchise is up there with the best apocalyptic/story driven games of all time.

Metro 2033, Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light are still among my absolute favorite games to this day. I was just a little disappointed with Exoddus, I don't even know why, but somehow the game wasn't what I expected.
