The great thing about watching TV Burp was that (as well as being hilarious) it showed you how ridiculous TV was becoming (freaky eaters, the apprentice, lion man, young butcher of the year, hole in the wall etc) and merely highlighted the point. If you served your TV Burp apprenticeship then it taught you to avoid the garbage.
