no copyright infringement intended. The movie is not mine, the reactions are not mine, only the hard work, time, and dedication of putting this all together is mine. I wouldn't call myself a hero, cause what's a hero? But sometimes, there's a man.... - Развлечения
Fun Fact, due to budget constraints, the song "Stuck in the Middle With You" in this scene ate up the ENTIRE budget for music for the film.
I loved Madsen describing what it's like when people see him on the streets. Little kids see him and get all excited because hey! It's the dad from Free Willy! The parents see him and pull the kid away, going, "Don't go near that man." LOL
"don't LISTEN to this man"😁
Love Michael Madsen. He's in my top 10 of all time favorite character actors. But you gotta give some respect to Kirk Baltz (the cop) in this scene. He was toe to toe with Madsen in this scene. His fear and desperation matched the level of crazy and insane that Madsen was portraying. Wild scene but beautifully acted by both men.
Don’t know if it’s true, but I read that his plea for the sake of his kids was improvised and almost broke Madsen, who IRL is much more of an empath.
Doesn't have an ego, that man. Mr. Madsen has no problem starring in small to no budget films if he likes the script. Even fan-films.
He was awesome as Rudy in the getaway movie in 1994
5:15 My favorite part of the scene; he walks outside and the music gets quieter until he goes back inside. So clever!
It allows you just a moment to step out of the fear and anxiety and pain, so you can think about what you just saw more. The real world is out there just clicking away. Then you step back into the madness. The nightmare isn't over.
The line that gets me every time. "Don't go anywhere, I'll be right back."
The fact that that cop knew Mr Orange was a cop and was willing to be beatin to a pulp by Mr White and Mr Pink and have his ear cut off and burned alive before givin up Orange says alot about his loyalty to his job
Or his lack of imagination. I'd take a bullet to the head to save someone's life, but I ain't getting tortured for anyone or anything.
Joe should have known that Vic (Mr. Orange) was a pyschopath before choosing him for the diamond robbery.
@@alonenjersey I think Joe did know, which he felt was an attribute.
@@user-lb9xw4xf2q In the last scene of this film, Joe did confess: "I should have head examined."
@@alonenjersey Vic was Mr. Blonde not Mr. Orange.
The collective silence at the end was so excellent
I can’t hear this song without instantly thinking of this scene
No one can
I never heard this song before seeing this movie, which I did when it came out on VHS. I mean, probably I had but it just didn’t stick with me for whatever reason. Naturally I have no concept of the song without this scene.
This movie changed the whole way this song was originally written about.
I also think of the Itchy and Scratchy version.
I know what you mean.
Well now I wanna see a Mexican standoff mashup
And the opening/walking scene
A scene so uncomfortable to watch that even A Nightmare on Elm Street director Wes Craven walked out of a screening of Reservoir Dogs when this scene was shown! True story.
Suppose theres a difference between violence on screen and comic book horror violence.
@@happyapple4269 Wes Craven's body of work can be for mature audiences as well, he's been there for sure.
Mr. Craven is a decent man.
The movie that put Quentin on the radar. A independent film, that became a cult classic.
Fun fact: Tarantino wrote Vincent in Pulp Fiction for Michael Madsen
Mr. Blonde's name is Victor Vega and he is the brother of Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction. So Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs takes place in the same universe.
My favorite theory is that both movies take place in the same week. Give or take a day or two. With the robbery in Reservoir Dogs leading almost directly into the events in Pulp Fiction.
Victor was supposed to be in Pulp Fiction, but Mansen couldn't make it. Rather than react him, he made Travolta's character, Vincent, his brother.
That I don’t know about, they probably meant a different Vega family. I never heard either one of them mention each other in both movies
Everyone stops singing right before the camera pans...
This scene is what I think of every time I hear this song
What's funny is that these people all probably heard this song due to the popularity it received after this movie came out.
I remember seeing this for the first time and I was hooked on Tarantino. This scene was craaaaazy! Tarantino knows how to pair music with scenes.
I can't wait for the next stuff you come out with. Keep doing what you are doing, dude.
I appreciate you taking the time with this sentiment. 🙂
He's not the Dude, he's Mr. Lebowski. The other guy is the Dude, soo, that's what you call him, you know.
In college, watched this movie over and over again with my homies. We knew almost every line. Launched one of the best directorial careers in history. Think about the past 25 years of filmmaking, and it’s Tarantino and Nolan on the very top, for me.
This is my favorite scene of the entire movie!!
mine too. 😎
Man. These people will never hear this classic rock hit that plays every now and then the same way ever again 😆
That cop is the unspoken badass of the film.
My dad worked with the bass player from steelers wheel. They're from paisley, scotland. I always thought they were an American band.
Between the opening of the movie and this, you got a perfect idea of what Tarantino liked.
Savagery for Savagery's sake?
We need more Tarantino mashups, The Hateful Eight would be a good one, especially the scene where Samuel L Jackson tells the old general the story of how he knows his son... half horror half comedy scene.
"So he just grabbed this guy for fun" x1000
That soft little "what the fuck" at the end had me cracking up.
"I feel like he's gonna do something crazy.' Yeah, you could say that.
I love how at the end he keeps pointing the gun at him, even if it's not loaded. Masterpiece.
Michael Madsen just oozes cool.
he does indeed.
in a warehouse filled with hearses and caskets.
I never heard this song the same after this movie.
We still need that dinner scene from pulp fiction my guy 💯😆
You never hear that song the same way again.
Madsen didn't like the cop comment about having a small kid and wanted it taken out of the scene since he just had a kid in real life himself. His son died in 2022
They’re all tense and terrified until Stealer’s wheel comes on and then they’re all smiling and boppin’. Sorry You will never hear that song again without thinking of this.
Madsen in the movie was 100% an inspiration vibe wise for Michael in GTA 5
Great british band, from scotland
This scene was absolutely insane and that no one saw this coming
He got shot in the gut you can live up to a day or so before bacteria infection but mega painful! Reservoir Dogs is a classic Quinton Terantino movie
Everyone likes a good tune on the radio when they are busy at work
"stuck in the.."📻🎶🎶🎵 😅💬
Love your compilations, Mr. Lebowski!
thanks, glad you enjoyed. 😎
AWESOME!
Please do Kill Bill 2 when Beatrix plucks out Elle Drivers' eye!
I love this song, I dance to this song while cooking in the kitchen
don't cut yourself!
@@YoureMrLebowski don't worry, when I cut or chop food items I stay focused at all times
Ooooh, this a good one Lebowski.. new it before I even watched your clip.. outstanding choice imo.. "hey what's going on".. lol..
7:06 cops love that line lmao
Funny, I've been watching reactions to Reservoir Dogs for a couple days and this comp pops up.
Excellent editing. Fun watch to see the reactions. Subscribed! Peace!
☮️
Lol at the end, "Eeww, the ear."
Mr. Blonde got moves
Side note. This guy, Mr. Blonde, is Vic Vega. Vincent Vega's brother from Pulp Fiction.
This is what's called "building a rapport," in the enhanced torture field of intelligence collection.
Love the channel. Keep it up. Let's us non-patreon members of the channels see a kind-of behind the scenes of the best scenes. 😉Can't hear this song without thinking of this movie. Madsen is so great.
Cutting the ear scene is the reference to Sergio Corbucci Django 1966 same torture. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
The genius of this scene is that by showing Mr Blonde playing the song and dancing before he tortures the cop, the viewer sides with him because he seems cool as hell. That makes the torture even worse to witness. That comes through big time in these reactions. When the song starts and he dances everyone smiles and laughs, then it’s straight down hill. Great compilation!
Sure, if you have the memory of a goldfish, and forget that he literally just said he's gonna torture the cop just for fun. At no point did I think he seems cool as hell, and a few old man dance moves ain't gonna change that. Entertaining as hell, yes, but there's a difference between enjoying an entertaining character and siding with him.
@@korganrocks3995I agree. Keeping also in mind that much of the preceding 20 minutes or so consisted of Mr. Black and Mr. Pink talking about his needless slaughter at the robbery and confronting him about that, which he showed no emotion about.
@@korganrocks3995 Watch the reactions. One person said he was Ric Flair. Others started dancing. It’s not an insult to the viewers, it’s a compliment to Tarantino’s skills. Maybe “side with him” isn’t the right way to say it, but the positive vibe is definitely there.
@@MDK2_Radio Yeah, he was already a clear maniac before he started talking torture.
@@BeardOfRikerYeah, as I said, he's a very entertaining character, so I don't blame anyone thinking he's cool and fun, but I don't think any of those reactors were rooting for him to "win" the movie.
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it.
This scene is classic Tarantino
“Holy shit!”
Yes, Mr. Blonde was, indeed, very holey after that.
I love your videos dude. The montages. Keep it up.
Vic Vega aka Mr.Blonde brother to Vincent Vega
That explains the dancing.
"How bout' a little fire scarecrow'?"
I just wanna say the editing and the way you splice together the clips and keep the continuity going? S tier editing my friend. I gotta say your post are def a bright spot in my day 👌👌🙏🙏
thanks, i'm glad you enjoyed 🙂

Love this Tarantino flick.
Notice how most already knew the song despite never seeing the film, but they only knew about it because of the film that made it popular. Funny that.
Great Reactions, Everyone 😊
The crazy part is not a single channel would know this song if 500 ppl asked them to react to it for THE FIRST TIME!!!!
7:33 I did not expect that
Oh man, please make the rest of the movie, this is bonkers entertaining
This guy was actually their good luck charm, in a really messed up way. Remember, the cops were waiting for them at the bank. They were probably waiting for them to leave the bank before nabbing them, but because Mr. Blonde started killing employees it caused the chaos needed to allow some of them to escape. Otherwise they would have all been arrested or killed as soon as they left the bank.
Instead they were all arrested and/or killed a little later, *including Joe and Eddie.* Not so lucky, methinks.
@@luckypunfire6263only after he dies👀☝🏼
Reminder that Michael Madsen voices Shimano Futoshi from the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series.
That's the Uniqueness of Tarantino. A lot of Directors don't care about what song is in the scene. That song helps with the scene.
Tarantino uses Music to enhance the movie.
You should have titled the video "Eww, the ear."
Awesome video.
Everything I hear that song.... I think about needing to shave.
Little hard watching him play the dad in free willy after this .
Was Steven Wright the voice that introduced the music?
yes, that was Steven Wright.
You can tell he’s very hyped about those super sounds of the 70s.
Now you need to balance things out with the tipping scene
Scene made people walk out of the cinema.
It never occurred to me until now that if Mr. Blonde had burned the cop to death, he would've also burned the entire building down, and thus Mr. Orange was also saving himself from the fire by shooting him. Good catch by the reactors on that one.
I always wondered why Mr. Orange didn’t think to make that his reason when he had to justify it to Nice Guy Eddie. I guess it’s not as good for the story as his concern for a brother officer coming out was, but you know how you think about these things like they’re real life.
He probably just doesn’t care
Burn the place down? Did these people grow up on Disney films only?
Do these reactors really talk over the movie like this? How do they follow the movie if so?
The people reacting to this video are so soft and sheltered. When Madsen slapped the cop and the British lady screams😂
I mean...what? Mr. Blonde is probably a camper and understands a good fire needs proper kindling, right? You gotta work with what ya got is all I'm saying.
dark, very dark. 😆
LOL@@YoureMrLebowski
Well, as they say, build a man a fire, and he may stay warm for a night. Set a man on fire, and he may stay more than warm for the rest of his life.
You hear that?
Inception please ❤️
$20,000 dollar movie! No actor was paid! They read the script and they were in! They knew it a different kind of movie making, and most of them were down on movie luck career wisecat in time! And he Wins Frances highest Film honour The Palme D'or! Regarded as The MOST Prestigious Film award of ALL amongst the European chic movie set, even more so than an Oscar! Oscars are for The masses and rhe mainstream, The Palm D'or is for the Artists and Avante -Garde. Might have been $40,000 budget, but think it was $20,000! Hence, one main location! Amd a running sequence that goes past rhe same shops twice! Quicker and cheaper! Genius budget corner cutting really. So long in that fucking Diner at the beginning though! 😂
I never knew they didn't get paid!
Black brother 74
Those first two guys (especially dude in the back wearing the beanie) are terrible actors
Truth be told, I have the hardest time trying to find the appropriate music for torturing cops. Movies like this one inspire me to greater heights.
dark.
You are a sick person. Why would you want to torture police officers?
Psychopath; who raises guys like that anyway? Were they accused by their entire families, were they bullied at school, or are they just born like that. But I digress, I don’t know people that well
