All your videos are full of information and excellent especially for new flyers and even some of us aging flight simmers when we sometimes forget things🤔
Thank you for this information, Huddison. One thing that surprised me about FS 2020, along with many others, is when you set up a Controller profile for one aircraft, as you did for the Cessna 172, that profile becomes the default for all other aircraft, including the Boeing 747-800 and the 787, which have different sensitivity settings for whatever controller(s) you're using. So you have to create a different profile for every controller for the different classes of aircraft and select the one(s) you have set up for whichever aircraft you choose, instead of making the simulator automatically attach the appropriate profile to the aircraft you want to fly. I hope somebody requested a change to fix this issue.
Your videos have been so damn helpful! I am LOVING having access to MSFS on Xbox as I'm not a PC guy. If I buy a mouse will I have the ability in cockpit view to use it freely without going into "cursor mode" i.e. clicking in left thumb stick? If so it feels like a no brainer that I need to go get now!

@@Huddison let me know if you find out if an update becomes available! Thanks for the great videos! Literally just unboxed my hotas one! The throttle is so loose that it will not stay in place. Used some one sided sticky velcro on the plastic that goes onto the throttle section that goes under the housing, and it worked great! Let me know if you want a pic!
@@Huddison I got lucky the other day, and everything was there and I cant remember the gate number in Chicago, O'Hare Airport. I wish they would tell us, which one has or not... I had to look at your Thrust video, to use as my push back from gate.
@@Huddison I found out my problem, why no Ground Service was spawning in those area, it was a corrupt file... I had to reload my software and now all Ground Services shows up... I have no clue what happened... Its all fine now.
Hi and thanks for answering my previous question. I am still learning and doing tutorials with xbox and hotas. I am unable to navigate and start the timer for example with both hotas and xbox controller. Controller acts like actual flight controls. Please help. Thanks.
@@Huddison I have completed the solo flight in the tutorial and am on to vfr training. I need to time a leg of flight in a window that is open. I can’t find a button on Hotas or the xbox controller that lets me do that. Furthermore, I don’t know how to open the top menu or any flight control on the plane’s instrument panel with either the hotas or xbox controler. Can you help me with that? The xbox controler does the same thing as the hotas once I am flying. Also, when I am in discovery flight, the only view I can access is drone view in back of the airplane. Can that be changed? Thank you so much.
@@Huddison Hi and thanks for your answer. I am referring to a window that pops up on vfr flights and using waypoints and using timer between waypoints to guide the flight. When I am in the plane, both the hotas and xbox controller act as the same. I can’t actually grab and select any instruments or activate the options panel at the top. I am also unable to get out of drone view when I am in a discovery flight. I programmed the hotas top hat with the same views as you recommend and those work fine in normal flight or training flights however not in discovery flights. Any suggestions and Happy New Year!
Another great video. Btw I tried setting up things on the throttle rocker and no matter what I do it sets it up the same no matter which side I press on the rocker it puts both as + instead of one side + and one side - as it worked before I tried reassigning the rockers. Any idea how to fix that? Btw I had my trim set up like yours. Great minds think alike lol.
@@Huddison it never prompted me to make a new profile like it usually does, I’m thinking that caused it, I may have to start over with a fresh profile if that will fix it.

Hawaii wow😎 On the Xbox, you're still not able to save sensitivites, as of yet.

How does a person know what airport gates has a full ground services????
Good question: I spawn in at different gates to see which one suits my needs best.

I'm not sure what you are referring to with 'timer'?

Not sure what's going on there Brian (re the Rocker); I'll take a proper look when time allows ;)

It adds resistance to the throttle (see my community page here on RUclips for more details).
