  • One of the most competitive automobile industries is the SUV segment. There are some pretty high-quality cars, and others are very popular. Some of the top choices are the Ford Explorer, the Kia Telluride, the Jeep Grand Cherokee, and even the Volkswagen Atlas. These cars are great competitors, but it seems as though with the updates made to the 2023 Ford Explorer, it is now standing out among all the competitors. But what is it that makes it stand out? Could it be that the 2023 Ford Explorer is better than its competitors? Let’s find out, shall we?
    Hello everyone, and welcome back to our channel. Today, we will find out whether the 2023 Ford Explorer is better than its competitors. But before we continue, make sure that you leave a like and subscribe to our channel for more updates on your favorite cars. And with that, let’s look at the 2023 Ford Explorer versus its competitors.
    One of the fiercest segments in the car industry is the midsize three-row SUV segment. It has countless proven competitors who are constantly enhancing their flagship models to gain an edge over the rest. The 2023 Ford Explorer, the Volkswagen Atlas, the Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the Kia Telluride are among these competitors. However, if you compare them, you will realize that the 2023 Ford Explorer stands out at the top of all of them. When you look at the performance, gas mileage, safety, practicality, and even the off-road capabilities, you will see that it really stands out.
    The first advantage that the 2023 Ford Explorer midsize SUV has over all the other midsize SUVs is that it has a more powerful engine. The Explorer has more robust engine options, boasting the power to get you where you need to go and get the job done. It all starts with the base-level 2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4, which is more potent. This engine alone can give you up to 300 horsepower. In addition, you can get the Explorer with a 3.3-liter V-6 hybrid, which can give you 318 horsepower, or a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V-6, which provides you with 400 horsepower.
    When it comes to the Jeep Grand Cherokee, it comes with a 3.6-liter V-6, which gives it about 293 horsepower. The Grand Cherokee also comes with a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8, which provides it with about 357 horsepower. It also has a plug-in hybrid in the 4xe model, giving it about 375 horsepower. These powertrains are still no match for the 400-horsepower output of the Explorer’s EcoBoost V-6.
    If you compare this with the Kia Telluride, all the engines offer more horsepower without messing with the fuel efficiency. The Telluride comes with a 3.8-liter V-6 engine, which gives it about 291 horsepower. However, we can say that the Kia Telluride is a bit more fuel efficient, given that it offers an estimated fuel economy of about 23 mpg combined. However, the Explorer comes with an estimated fuel economy of up to 24 combined mpg, and the Hybrid has a gas mileage of up to 27 combined mpg.
    Another advantage that the 2023 Ford Explorer has over its competitors is the interior. The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a roomier interior. It doesn’t matter whether you are going to the grocery store or driving on a trip across the country, the Explorer provides a lot of space for people and cargo. Regarding seating capacity, the Explorer can fit up to seven passengers. However, the Grand Cherokee can only carry up to five people in the two-row model. The three-row Grand Cherokee L model is the one that comes closest, carrying a maximum of six people. The Explorer also has a total passenger volume of about 152.7 cubic feet.
    When it comes to safety, the 2023 Ford Explorer is definitely the better choice. It has been given an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award, which is the highest possible rating. On the other hand, the Telluride has managed to get the second-tier IIHS Safety Pick award. And even though the Kia Telluride has its advantages over the 2023 Ford Explorer, the Explorer definitely takes the win for its advantages and features.
    In terms of safety, the Ford Explorer is also safer than the Jeep Grand Cherokee. This clearly places the 2023 Ford Explorer higher than all of its competitors in terms of safety.
    The 2023 Ford Explorer is a much more capable vehicle when it comes to its off-roading and towing capabilities.
    In the end, the 2023 Ford Explorer is highly competitive among most of the three-row SUVs, each with its own sets of pros and cons. But in the long run, the Explorer is a better choice for consumers who are interested in performance, a high-grade cabin, safety, and even affordability.
    So, do you think that the 2023 Ford Explorer is better than its competitors? Feel free to let us know in the comments section below. Also, before you go, make sure you leave a like and subscribe to our channel for more amazing updates on your favorite cars. Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you in the next one!

This happened to us last week and we are back to FIGHTING with Ford to help up. It's so insanely hard to work with Ford on this. Praying they just pay us to get out of this LEMON of a vehicle and we can take our money elsewhere. • @DalHarpJr
      @DalHarpJr Год назад

      Drayden Hilliard.. The ONLY thing the Dodge Durango has that is better than the Explorer, is the availability to option V8 engines.. That's it! The Durango has been continually 'refreshed' cosmetically on a tired, decades old Mercedes Benz platform, and it has subpar tech to boot! Please share with the chat how the Dodge Durango is better than the completely revamped Ford Explorer?

    • @slomoz3462
      @slomoz3462 Год назад +1

      The Durango has the most powerful platform, higher tow rating, nicely revised interior, and is definitively a better looking vehicle.
