This is an excellent storage solution! I recently started using a shot shell box with sample vials for string my nibs. I use a label on the side for notating what’s inside. But I really love your numbers and spreadsheet solution better and I think I’ll use it in addition. Thank you so much for sharing! 🤘🏼😸🧡🖋
Love this, Kristen! I had never heard of Flexible nib factory and you best believe I grabbed myself a couple housing units, lol. amazing! Thank you! I have a jewelry drawer that has those velvety-lined dividers and I keep them organized by size and finish that way, but I absolutely love this solution as well.
✒️ This is so cool! Thanks! 🖋️ All my current penless nibs (maybe around 15) are stored in the containers nibs come in or ink sample vials, then placed in one of those shellshot cases that can hold 25 of them. I don't have a spreadsheet or database for them, but I do have a database for my pens; when I change the nib on a pen, I catalog it in the pen database. Most of the penless nibs are there because I replaced them with special grind nibs that I bought.
Very cool way of organizing your nibs. I only have a dozen or so extra nibs. The rest are on pens. This makes sense when we want to track special nib grinds. Love Nemosine stub nibs. I’ll have to see how you store your inks.
I totally copied you on this! I had been using these storage containers for jewelry findings, bookbinding, and leather tools and for some reason never considered nibs. A much more compact solution than the ink sample vials I had been using previously.
Thank you so much for sharing. This is a great storage solution.
Thank you so much Kristen! Your organization is absolutely wonderful. I love being able to see the side things like this that support the pen hobby.
You are so welcome, thanks for watching!
Thanks for showing that case! It’s so so handy for storage. I think I might fill more small boxes than I’m aware of now 😮😂
LOL they do fill up quite quickly!

Awesome! Glad to share the info about FNF. I love that your nibs have a comfy and luxurious home!
This is so much better than what I'm using right now - will definitely be making some changes to my method. Thank you for all the inspiration! 😍
You're so welcome!

I think I'll have to make a video on storing my inks! Thanks for watching!

I love when we find new (or even old) solutions that work just right for our hobbies!
hahaha, all mine are dumped in an old Kaweco tin..
😂 if it works, it works!
