The off white rubber coupler costs about $8 and if it’s deteriorating the dishwasher won’t drain properly nor get the dishes clean. The person who posted this video noticed that it was falling apart but didn’t seem to realize the significance of it being very deteriorated. I tried all your suggestions except for pump replacement but it still wasn’t working. So on a hunch I took pictures of the serial number plate and of the interior of the dishwasher and took the deteriorating coupler ( it broke into two pieces of perishing rubber when I pulled it out) and drove to Reliable Parts in Coquitlam or Port Coquitlam and showed the pictures and mangled rubber pieces to a clerk. He went into the back and showed me a new equivalent and charged $8 Canadian and within minutes of returning home our dishwasher was working again. Had to remove the spinning arm and remove one bolt as the video showed and remove the round filter and force the rectangular end in and ensure the cylindrical connection was attached to the round filter during the re install. Thank you for the video
Wow...I've seen a lot of videos & this one actually told me more different causes it could be than any of them. This is almost exactly what I was looking for. & For the people complaining about not seeing how to do it, stop being lazy & look it up! He clearly states what their called & what the issue with each could be....BE GRATEFUL. Fuckin rude asses. Like I legit got more from this than all of the like 7 other videos all together that I saw. So thank you.
How did you get the screen out without taking off the propeller thing…was it a matter of just reaching around?..because I know some models the propeller thing pops off to make it an easier view of the filter areas for unclogging and maintenance checks…great video though thanx
You didn't show how to actually remove anything! That's why people are looking for advice and directions. You need to show more instructions not just the after you did it! Do better please!

I wish you would demonstrate how you take everything apart that way I can see how you do it exactly
exactly!!!
howd you get the thing out of the pipe dude?
@@diegosc985 there is a hex screw under the filter that face you when you look underneath, that screw will allow you to spin the filter around.
I can link a video the videos go together so well
Yeah you gotta be rough with it but once you take out screw you can move it without breaking it
Delete this video. 😂😂😂 you skipped over EVERYTHING!

What did you use to clean out the sump screen?
You skipped the cleaning. That was the only part I wanted to see.
Thanks, I know however ended up having to replace the dishwasher as pump impeller and housing were damaged from hard water
Inside the drain is there supposed to be a little a ball in the tube where the water drain?
Yes I have that little ball as well
Uh just uh go uh and uh press uh that uh dish uh wash uh er uh 😆
Thanks for the video

Yep, I'm calling someone. 😂
This video did not demonstrate anything other than showing what the issues where, no breakdown of what needs to be done or anything.
I don't mean to be rude but you are all over the place. I wish you would have filmed the whole process. This didn't help at all. Maybe try again 😉
Try turning on light so we’re not in the dark and you skipped a lot of how you did things you tryed e for effort
Very bad illustration. You should've showed us a step by step video.
He speaks what he has done but doesn’t show how to. Waste of time.
How you make a video showing how to clean it without actually showing how to clean it 🤦♂️
This is not helpful video. Did not show who to disassemble the assembly to remove screen. That is most important part!

Not very exact in all steps.
Sorry end up replacing the dishwasher as the pump was completely destroyed
This a terrible tutorial
This was worthless
