Thanks, I'm about to do this on my girlfriend's car. Helped alot
Very good video good teacher but I know that we have a serpentine belt not confused with a timing belt thank you I know this helped me very much thank you…..
Thanks
What were the symptoms of that bad cps?
Line up with "key slot"??
What are the tourque specs?
And the right bolts are a step down bolt.I am sure they would have been in the package
Every body show how remove the crankshaft position sensor but didn't" said the reason , removed or replaced it . which is the most important things to know mechanics
I think you need to have the threaded bolt in place already before you put the Is tool in there
is this the same process for the 2003 monte carlo ls?????
I guess Im randomly asking but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account..?
I was stupid lost my account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Korbyn Xander instablaster :)
@Lane Zaiden thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Lane Zaiden it worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much, you really help me out!
@Korbyn Xander Glad I could help :)
You need a drop light. That pen light is in the way!
Lol my impact gun was useless. I ended up putting wd 40 taking 1/2 drive wrench and bump starting it. Make sure the car doesn’t start before you try the bump start method. I’m glad I purchased a steering wheel puller years ago. I thought it was a waste of money. I’m glad I was wrong.
What were the symptoms your car was having that required you to change the CPS?
The car was misfiring and idling rough. It also had a check engine light on. The code it threw was P1374 3x reference circuit.
@@AbnormalGarage i had to do this also on the same vehicle problem was my fuel injectors wasn't firing, now she running like a champ.
@@AbnormalGarage My 3800 tachometer went out two days ago. Then it comes on after driving a few miles but bounces around at times. Yesterday the car would not start so I got on the ground and wiggled the harness as I can reach the wires. The car started after doing this. Two other times the car had to be jumped and it started right up with cables. The SES light is not on but I am thinking this sensor is bad??
My sons ss runs for like 20 minutes then shuts off we replaced fuel pump did a complete tuneup fuel filter and regulator new battery coils ignition coil car still shut off this is the last thing we haven’t done I’m hoping this is the problem
any chance this worked for you?
Was that the problem
@@baseless3 yup
so u don't need the tool to put the pully back on
Nope. Just the line the pulley up with the key way, put the bolt back in and torque it down.
@@AbnormalGarage What is the key way???
Never got that answer... here I am 5 years later curious ASF about this Key. And what their 'way' is. Car to weigh in on this Dudester @AbnormalGarage @@Jack51971

Wait a min. This didnt need to be positioned to perfect specs??? Whats that shit online all about talking bout you shouldnt do it in your garage in case you mess up the positioning?
