what about including 2 atmos speaker ;)
Can't wait to see the build and hear your impressions. This is going to be epic!
I love this when you open speaker's 👌🏽😎👍🏽💪🏽
Not gonna lie, love the hair😂😂
the hair is nice but he really needs to shave
Make the top of the boxes transparent so you can see the speakers.
That would be horrible for sound
I am thinking of doing a subwoofer build soon that will be based upon the svs pb 2000. It will have a 4 inch diameter port that is 19 inches long with the Dayton HO 12 4. It will have a 300 watt bash amplifier and a internal volume of right about 3.5 ft2 tuned to 17 hz. I am wondering how it will compare to you upcoming sub.
If you ain't got 4 Dayton 15's I'mma be disappointed
The brand new ones 😍
I'd love it to happen
2 ultimax 18
No a ural patriot xxl
18's
@@DJGeosmin 32s
What receiver are you going to use? Marantz? They are really really top notch when it comes to sound quality!
Cant wait to see them finished.
Doublsmm I have a question my logitech z623 satellite speakers needs to be repaired could your recomened a repair kit for the foam edge or speakers that I can replace it with?
Do a transparent box for those speakers
Sounds like crap
Excellent unboxing video brother
Wow beautiful speakers 😍
Will 3 15” subwoofers have good bass
Im looking at doing the Um8-22 in my car. so far youre reviews of dayton has been giving me the idea. 1.15cuFT sealed for 3 of em on ~900-1100w
They drivers are most likely Aramid which is a variation of Kevlar.
Can you break open a jam storm speak???
Am planning to make 3.1 system for my iPad
Where can I get one for my Son
Will you ever review the tangband W5
5.4?
Do 4 24" subwoofers 😂
L acoustics subs ^^
No 2 32.inch deaf bounce
@@batery5156 but then paired with some 10" or his response would cripple from 50 - 150hz 😂
@@derSkedda hahahahaha ny magnat box and amp with akef 8 ibch sub chasis has a damn low response
@@batery5156 yeah, I also know some 8" that go down to 22hz. The 32" ones would probably play from 12-60hz after that they might be to big to move right.
You say you are using the same crossover, but surely you'll use a lower crossover point for the larger 7" over the 5 1/4" because of beaming. I doubt they have the similar response over 2000 hertz, larger drivers should always be crossed over lower.
It's not the same crossover. I think he was just meaning the 5 and a half are sharing the same crossover and the 7-inch sharing the same crossover. The crossover has changed.
The crossover point is fairly similar though. I first designed the 7-inch crossover and then designed the 5 and 1/2. I tried to keep the crossover point around the same, to keep the voicing similar. But there's no beaming concerns, since I started with the 7-inch first.
Surround sound is cool, but plain stereo never disappoints. I've reverted from using a full 5.whatever set up to using a stereo set up(stereo 12in towers and technics bookshelves on top) I stopped using my center channel quite some time ago. To me it seems because of surround sound modeling, both official 5.1 tracks, and available receiver codecs converting it to surround, send most the information to the center, and even if you have a robust center speaker its taking away from your audio experience. A pair of stereo speakers can replicate a center stage, and imo do a better job at it. "All" the sound going through one center speaker, or going through a pair of speakers. Basically whenever you have surround modes active with a center speaker. If the original signal is not a legitimate quality surround signal, all of the signal going to BOTH left and right will go just to your center, depending on the codec may send a greatly reduced signal to L & R. Now good quality legitimate surround signals, say something off of a blueray disc, can have decent mixing and sound quite good, but from my experience, no center channel, With a well set up pair of stereo speakers(or two pair, line array, etc) sounds better. Surround and rear surround dont detract from the LR setup when using real surround signals, so I use stereo mode most of the time, and if I put a blue ray in I may switch it to the surround, now either 4.whatever, or 6.whatever. basically my advice is to focus on the stereo aspect and completely delete the center speaker from your setup
You're obviously more into music than movies. 5.1, 7.1, and atmos stuff is for movies, not music.
@@blanknam3d no not really, I'm just more into better sound quality. I use stereo for most things I listen to and watch. Because many of them dont have an actual 5.1 or 7.1 option, and I've noticed many movies that do have the option, but the mixing is terrible. The center channel speaker is pointless. Left and right speakers properly set up make a much better center image, with a fuller sound. The actual center of the audio field can be dead center where your TV is, You will never have that with a center channel speaker unless it is in front of your TV, or behind a projector screen. I still use my surround effects channels when I have a real surround codec to work with, I especially like DTS. Theres a reason they went from a single mono speaker in the middle for movies and shows to a stereo set up. Because it makes and audio field and fills the room, left to right with sound. The only reason surround sound is a thing, is because we wanted to hear stuff happening behind and around us. But it's too bad people think we need another speaker in the center, when stereo already covers the center.. it basically puts the audio experience for a majority of what's going on back into mono. With a few little things happening in the effects and LR channels. The majority of the sound should be handled by a pair of stereo speakers, not one speaker set in the center, and that's my opinion. If you have decent left and right stereo speakers I ask you to try it out. Disconnect the center. Deactivate it on your receivers settings, and just start consuming different media that way. Movies, TV shows, RUclips videos, and music. If your speakers are good, and set up well, most things will sound like they are coming directly from the center of the two. You will not lose your center, it will most likely be improved. Try it out, see if you like it.
I agree, the best movie experiences I have had have been with stereo or headphones.
@@Dizzllle thankyou!. Steroe is just better. Adding in surround channels is ok, and doesn't take away from the stereo field and its capabilities. I've also played with 4 channel stereo, with a pair of speakers to my side, basically where the regular surround is recommended at. And, using speakers matched level wise(aka lower level, with a separate amp for those closer to you) actually sounds great, but not necessarily going to tell you what behind you in a movie or game. I think my preference will end up being a line aray. I have towers and bookshelfs match up to sound how I want, and i can tell that if i had a full on line array, it'd be great. I will end up making my own line array
Love youre upload schedule
What happened to the White ones?
The white subwoofers? The drivers have been removed and placed in a new box in his car.
finally a vid
And what's watts that speaker?
I came back to this channel and damn it changed! Where are my dual 18’s?
PR124 Wannabe he sold them a while ago

Provide these all links dude pls 😄
I love the speakers can’t wait to see this all don’t and with the subs but Atoms speakers would be nice also, and the subs I can’t want 😂 4 18” again??😂😂
5.4 would be a grate idea
Pls fix the trios, I miss them 🙁
finally a new videooooo
( N O O F F E N S E ) How do you keep getting all of this stuff and replacing and do you have a ton of money because you get money off of youtube by making tons of videos?
That is awesome!
waits for him to stream on twitch again
also cant wait to see tho whole system built
lets get it
I’ve been waiting
You should make 2 more exactly like the surrounds and run 7.howevermanysubs
Watch it be a 5.4 or 5.5 system!!
YEESSSS
I’m putting 2 12” pioneer subs in etch of my towers
why do you only use dayton? Use other brands like pioneer etc
Dayton is better than pioneer. And pioneer does only cheap home stuff and car stuff. But not for diy.
Just saying pionner makes very expensive and high quality speakers it's not on there website but look them up
Pioneer doesn't make the same boutique drivers like what was shown in this video, additionally they don't even sell raw drivers.
Pioneer doesn't give that many parameters, Dayton gives every one that is needed to make a custom speaker. And they are super high quality and you can safely assume that they perform very nicely. With other brand I wouldn't be so sure.
Also, there aren't many raw elements that they sell, and if they do sell them, they are pretty bad quality.
@@94e88 wait I found a solution to this i messed up it's the studio speakers they make that are good I got them mixed up they do make good home theater stuff too I'm not saying it's the best I'm saying it's not trash
please etch the speaker cutout cirlces and then cut them with the jig rather than make those jegedy ass cuts that make a circle and are terebly crooked. i etched the cutout of my first ever custom speaker box and now the cutout fo the driver is perfectly circular
Will be doing that! If you look at the car subs I build recently it'll look exactly like that!
Do test with it
YES
The B-Rolls are too dark
Go for 8 18s
Looking hot doublsmm 😂😉
Sadly your close-up shots are too dark
I have a few close-ups on my channel in the last video I did. This is going to be an excellent build. I can't wait to see what he thinks of the custom crossovers I designed.
Woah, that's a while since I've seen you on yt.
Yeah I be waiting on the uploads
I'm tellin ya Sinclair or JVC has the best subs
Nope
Hey bro you should check out Kirbymeetsaudio’s channel i think you might learn a lot from him. He did a whole series on making crossovers and he explains it in a way a person who doesn’t know anything about audio can comprehend. Im not far from starting building my own crossovers now!
Bruh uploading schedule
low volume speaker WHAT???/
go for 12 eighteens this time. pa of course.

Overlay lighting is atrocious bro. Would love to have actually been able to see these drivers but they were basically black holes on the screen. Not being a dick just trying to give helpful feed back.

Lighting is weird. Too dark.
Try turning your screen brightness up
@@MaxCaissie cranked to full. I am saying that one side of his video is brighter than the other side
He can't use other brands because he would have to pay for them
No, he uses Dayton because they give out the parameters that determine how they perform and he can calculate a box design for them beforehand. And with Dayton you can be sure that they perform very well and that they are high quality.
