I think it would've been more impressive if they had actually given us a clock to build; like provide us with a battery operated motor, give us a set of instructions and everything we need, and actually let us build a clock. Tahu's sword could be the minute-hand.
Even 5 years later we’ve been unable to make a 100% Lego click that runs good for more than 12 Hours (and thats wegen its pluged in), and even that one is a digital clock rather than the superrior analoge ome that this is
I think the red spinning circle is suppose to indicate when is what minute from the hour starting wherever you want.(if that makes sense) For example, if the 60 (on the red spinning thing) was pointing to the 15 on the clock, 45 minutes would be at the 12.
And also a misprint in EU mask packs for a few months, I didn't even know about it being in this clock until I was looking through old lego magazines last week. Wish i added it to my christmas list tbh haha
They put rings like that on diver's watches. It helps them keep track of how long they've been under. Hypothetically a child could use it to track how many seconds they've been playing with bionicle, up to a minute? lol
I just don't have enough space to display the Rahi anywhere. That's the biggest hurtle preventing me from wanting them in my collection. I might yet find a way to cover the Kaita somehow eventually though.

i think the red spinning part is so you can set a one-minute timer, setting the alarm for a minute from where you are on the clock? idunno.
