His voice is so amazing! I'd really like this song. David has a Great deeper sustained voice! This was a wonderful rendition of the message, it really manifests the way his gestures & voice intonation impacting the thirsty soul to drink a wonderful song making your condition brighter and better.
Uhm....she has absolutely no understanding of what this song truly means. Nor does she understand David D.'s vocal background. In a way, her lack of understanding isn't a surprise. I'm guessing the 1960s are pre-history to her, as they are to many people across all age groups. I hope she sometime understands the song better.
Listen to the live version on Conan. David D. had a high fever and was very ill, but he didn't want to let the audience down, so he sat on a stool and sang this song. Go and listen to it. Conan - you can find the link easily. You DO knowo how to find a link, right?
I hope you're just putting your words out as bait to get someone to respond to you. Fortunately, all I read from your words is your inexperience and your commitment to your mindset in the face of the world today. Never caring about the undeniable fact that the song is as apt today as it was in the 1960s. I wish you the best and hope nothing happens to upset your exceptionally vulnerable equilibrium. P.S. I was a senior in high school when Simon and Garfunkel (the writers, you know?) released this song. And to this day, I remember my first reaction...And to this day, I grieve because that warning from so long ago is still my reaction to this song today.
