I just walk in the room quick enough to spawn the leader and leave and about 10 seconds and enter the room again and he’ll stay.

He may was just being stubborn because of the Covenant blaming him for the destruction of a Halo, and given the opportunity to redeem himself as an arbiter, then only after living all of the events during Halo 2 campaign, eventually lead him to believe in Spark's words at the end. Arbiter story was pretty good, i still can't understand why did some people not like him :/
Its possible do it on the first xbox with the energy sword! I actually was able to glitch through the wall on the first xbox with the energy sword, but he cannot die. I remember those old days when I did that glitch, it was pretty fun to attack him and moving him everywhere with the glitch.
If you glitched through the window you used to be able to keep hitting him with the energy sword and knock him off the edge

Well since the “original” heretic leader with his banshee disappeared at the beginning of him flying away. That means that the heretic leader later is just a clone to. So the real heretic leader is still out there🤔

You can Sentinel Surf it to the bottom.
Unfortunately there's no bump possession in Halo 2, only Halo 1. That being said, it is possible to just make myself invincible and drop down there myself but there's really nothing. The bottom is solid but as Bender Rodriguez said, it's just the level's background/skybox.

Those screams & funny dialogue are 1 of the biggest reason why i love halo so much.
It's the only game that i enjoy to the core. Sometimes to listen their screams & funny dialogues & reactions, i restarts checkpoints again & again.
Ahh I remember doing this glitch. Using the energy sword, I kept lunging into the heretic via the glass window and it'll get me through to him

On the original Halo 2 on Xbox I had encountered a bug (I couldn’t replicate it anymore sadly) where the heretic fails to enter the Banshee, so I quickly went to one of the empty Banshee’s before the heretic enters his. When he went into his Banshee it didn’t de-spawned when it flew around the corner so it was possible to shoot him down, although he was invincible still so the only way to get rid of him was to drop (or push him off with the Banshee if he lands back into the station) him into the storm (just like in the video).
I had this exact same glitch happen too. I was like 5 years old, but I remember it vividly. It was pretty cool!

Hey I started playing Halo 2 on the original Xbox again and I've done a lot of glitches and secrets back then. I noticed that you have not done the ones i know. Have you ever got on the Pelican on Metropolis? It's the where the Scarab attacks. When you destroy the Wriaths and the Pelican comes. if I remember correctly you're supposed to board it as soon as everybody gets off the Pelican and the public will take off with you in it and it will take you to another destination. And also there's the soccer ball on top of the building but that takes a lot of patients on the original Xbox. Also if you jumped out early before the Scarab destroy the tank, you could actually rescue the tank. I can't remember if it's you the player or the marine, but I remember there was a weird glitch that the character went into like a t shaped frame and if you ride a hog the characters will be standing up with arms spread out. I should do that glitch again. Like I said I played Halo 2 a lot as a kid and i have done many game breaking stuff.

Most of those things aren't bugs or anything special, just easter eggs in the game. They are very well known, GeneralKidd usually does more obscure stuff or more in-depth testing on other things.

On the original Halo 2 a few months after release I was at a friends place playing H2 and once I had walked up to the window to see the Heretic leader randomly walk into and push his banshee off the ledge before he could enter it after his dialogue so I walked around to the landing pad and then I started sword slashing him but of course he never died but it was still a really cool glitch that I still have never seen happen again after 16 years of playing H2 / glitching H2. BTW I'm pretty sure that the H2 Multiplayer Map Pack disc update is what fixed that glitch from ever happening to me again.

The way to clip through the glass is a speedruns trick that saves 10 seconds. It's exclusive to the PAL version and is a frame perfect trick. You have to throw a plasma and sword fly to the leader exactly when the nade explodes.

Clipping through the wall on the original Xbox version might have some specific set-up to get it to work every time, but I could pull it off here and there by just sword canceling at the heretic leader through the glass. It wasn't very consistent, but it does work.
Can you please show me what other weapons drones can carry in halo 2 other than their needlers and plasma pistols please.
Generalkidd the way to get past the window was something know as the 50hz sword cancel. You had to have a your console set at 50hz and you could sword cancel out the window. It was .. problomatic. I did it a few times. Not super easy to replicate.
Can the heretic leader and elited rangers hold other weapons ( in flight too ).

I remember doing the original glitch on the original Xbox when I was really young and I managed to shoot through the wall but he doesn’t die. Unfortunately, it has been many years since I’ve done so I don’t really remember

On Xbox the glitch was using the sword you lunge at him and you will hit the wall but a second lunge asap after the first while pushing forward it sometimes clips you past the glass

You can also use the Scarab gun skull to mess him up, done it plenty of times

Heya, I actually did this glitch way back in the day, unknowingly, playing co-op with a friend: We were rushing so fast to try catch him that, for whatever reason I reached the glass first (I didn't even notice there was a glass window at first, I was too focused) and my friend was right behind me so I guess he bumped on me from behing, making me go through the window and I INMEDIATLY went for the kill and ACTUALLY killed the Heretic Leader with the sword. We were pretty much confused.. but what is interesting is the fact that, right after I prematurely killed the Heretic Leader, I got congratulated by the other characters via comms (I mean, the captain and other humans, I really don't remember much about those details up until this point, it's been way too many years). So this is actually what had me go here and comment because I never thought someone was able to do the glitch, not that I never actually researched, but most importantly the fact that I cannot check anywere the part were you get congratulated via comms. Hopefully someone can link me that part or lecture me about it because it was trully memorable! Such good times
The audio was something like "Congratulations, the Heretic Leader is no longer a threat", something along those lines.

I remember doing the original Xbox glitch back in the day and thought I was a hacking god, all you have to do is spam energysword lunge on the glass behind him as he's getting into the banshee, I was like 11.
Like 5 years back or so, I ran through the mission regularly and he didn't get in the banshee at all and I was able to kill him. I don't recall however if his banshee fell off or flipped but I do know that he was able to die
what happens then if you kill the heretic early on the next mission. right before he lock himself tight
About the glitch: it's completely possible to clip through the wall, you have to attack the Leader with the energy sword and eventually you'll land from the other side, have been doing it since i was 8 when i discovered it, but you can't kill the Heretic he just gets in the banshee no matter how many times you slash him

I have glitched through the window using sword cancelling but that was on an Original Xbox, not 360 or One.
You can do this with just turning certain skulls on for Xbox one. I have a video on how to achieve this glitch
I played this with my brother onece and the heretic leader buged out and did not enter his banshee. My brother and I got out and he was still standing their. We started to slash him with ouer energy swords and for some reason this made him go for the banshee as usal and my brother cought him and pouled him out and just like the video that killed him. it was one of the collest things I've ever seen in a video game

How do you play halo games on the PC I’ve tried finding halo ce but the only pirated copies I can find are only the demos and they’re always broken and my friend told me I can play halo five on the PC but I can’t figure it out. To be fair I am being lazy about it but it is easier to ask other people

Dalton Hawk He either bought Halo 5 in the microsoft store or he downloaded Halo 5 Forge which it is free
+Dalton Hawk For Halo 1 and 2, there were no digital copies of it on any store. It was disc only so you'd only be able to get it from places like eBay or Amazon these days. As for Halo 5, only the Forge and Customs mode is available and you can only get Halo 5: Forge from the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 Pc's only. Just open up the store and search Halo 5: Forge and you'll find it. All the Halo Wars games are available through that as well.

The heretic leader didn’t go in his Banshee for me, no wall hacks, no energy sword hacks. He just glitched and didn’t go inside, I was able to kill him

One time I was playing this mission on the MCC with my little brother and we were slashing at the Heretic leader through the barrier and actually clipped through it. We were in too much shock to actually do anything XD

i did this glitch on my old xbox when i was 12 or younger... go to the window, wait till crosshair gets red, attack and clip through the window and KILL him with only 1 hit.
if someone wants a proof, ill maybe try to find all the cables to connect my old xbox and record with my mobile phone and upload it to youtube.
