  • Hey friends, welcome back to my channel and thanks for clicking on another video. I hope this video blesses you. It honestly was really hard to record and edit end I even sat on uploading it for a good three weeks lol. I am just praying it finds its way to the right person who needs the encouragement. You are not alone in what you are going through, not only because other women experience it, but also because El Roi is with you, always.

I'm 9 weeks postpartum with baby #3 (the other kiddos are 3 and 1) and have dealt with postpartum depression and rage for the first time. It seems to have peaked at 6-7 weeks, but is so much better even now only a few weeks out, praise the Lord! It's really helpful to hear another woman of God speak on this, so thank you for sharing your experience!

Oh Lexie! You just don’t know how much I needed to hear this. After 18+ years of infertility and being in my mid 40’s, we found out we are pregnant again. This will be our 5th (2nd bio, 3 adopted) and the oldest is 5. The enemy has came in so hard against me. I’ve never felt so angry and depressed. I’ve asked the Lord a thousand times, “how are we going to handle 5 so young bc we are already stretched to the max”. All I could hear Holy Spirit say was “it’s His will”
So what you said is right on, He’s in the Valley!!

What a blessing Lexi your testimony is to me and others. Praise God for bringing you through this terrible dark time of motherhood. Oh how sweet it is to see your smile. And know that’s the real you. Thank you for sharing the realness and rawness of that time.

Thank you for sharing and being vulnerable. ❤ oh, how this will help SO many people. All of those 2nd time mom thoughts/fears are so universal. I can't imagine not having my 2nd now and the amount if love I have for him. I wish I never let those thoughts/fears steal my joy in my pregnancy.

I am glad you were able to work through all of this. I would also like to note however that there are thousands of amazing non-christian or atheists mothers/parents out there, there are counselling services and mentors in all spheres. Christianity does not have the strangle hold on being a good, loving, patient parent, it is possible to be those things without God. We all have issues to work through and some of us do that through our relationship to a deity and some of us do it other ways. Recognizing that it is not dirty and gross to struggle has helped me a lot, it's normal, it's not a sin. And recognizing that I can learn tools to help from all walks of life, because Christians don't always have the right answers.

Can I ask what kind of hormone testing you did? I tried to get mine checked when I started experiencing anxiety out of the blue and the company wouldn’t see me because I am currently nursing and possibly plan to have more children so they don’t do HRT if you can potentially get pregnant again.

Lexie, you were urgently seeking professional medical help for your newborn’s latch issues rather than praying that God heals it instead. I pray that whoever is in a mental valley seeks professional medical help with the same urgency.

Experiencing postpartum depression is a common and treatable condition that many mothers go through. Seeking help from healthcare professionals and support from loved ones is crucial for her well-being and recovery. It’s not a matter of God saving you, but rather accessing the necessary resources and support to address the challenges of postpartum depression. You need to prioritize her mental health and seek assistance.

I am so glad that you’re on the other side of this ♥️ I’m in the thick of it right now being 2 months PP, but thankfully my husband gets 3 months off work to help with the toddler 🥲 still so much to deal with though, it’s ridiculous
