🎉🎉❤❤😢 Jake, you and your new band are absolutely amazing. You are amazing!! Thank you for blessing the world with your talents, charm, humor and brilliance 😢😊
Can’t believe I saw them in Milwaukee 3 days after this and arrived too late to see Mirador. I chose not to go too early because I really didn’t care to see Geese, but had no idea Jake and Chris would be performing before them. My loss! 😢
GaaaaaaH! WHAT?!!!? BREATHING! JAKE…. Please add in more vocals on this next GVF album! Don’t get me wrong please because Josh’s vocals are absolutely like the beat of my heart. However, a few more tracks hearing you actually sing more than backup vocals would be an amazing addition ❤🙏❤️ Loved this video so much. Thank you John for sharing with all of us 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
The melody at 5:40 sounds like the melody in at wit’s end from pirate of the Caribbean 3. But the song is very good I hope they release an album soon !
The song by Buffy has the same lyrics but the melody is different but it’s not an original, it’s a ballad from medieval times which has been recorded by many in different languages
I saw GVF with Ida Mae in Madison a few years ago. For the encore, Jake sang with Josh, Chris and Stephanie. He looked terrified, but I could tell he could sing, albeit different than Josh. I just always figured he was too shy to sing on his own. ALL the boys in GVF can sing and I would've loved to hear a 4-part a cappella piece from them, but seriously doubt that will ever happen. Can't say I'm a fan of Chris's voice all that much, but Jake's voice tempers it nicely. They seem to be very simpatico and I look forward to hearing more from this band.
This may be the best song I have ever heard.🌺
This is one of the most beautiful ballads I have ever heard. And of course Jake Kiszka is involved. Can't wait until we get the full EP/LP.
Together their voices have a hauntingly beautiful sound. So thrilled to hear Jake sing, LOVE his voice! ❤

What a cover!! Absolutely blew the original clean out of the water! Need this as a studio version!
Technically only the lyrics are a cover. Musically speaking this is an original composition

Yes! The raw emotion coming through is so powerful.
