Several thousand RUclipsrs just screamed because, in all their resin pours, they never once tested with water. Absolute power play! Looking fantastic as usual, dude :D
Hahahahaha! That's a great image 🤣 Thanks so much for the kind words mate! 😊
Resin pours are always nerve wracking, but you did everything correctly so no surprise it worked perfectly. Can't tell you how many times I've seen people not check for leaks before the pour. It ended up looking fantastic, and the bones took it to the next level. Your wife was right!
Don’t tell her that! Haha thanks for watching Brad 😊
Genius idea to use water before pouring the resin. Beautiful build mate!
Thank you! Cheers!
@@dicedrinksanddadjokes Water is a good shout, but I've been using rice so I don't have to worry about dry time or spillage. Just something to think about.
@@nicholasmitchell4717 rice? How does that work?
Very cool project. Thanks.
Thanks for watching 😊
You're the first youtuber that I've seen test before pouring resin
Hahaha yay go me! I learned my lesson after my mould making fails!
The skeletons and resin finish the piece off beautifully 😊😊😊
Thank you so much 🙏
@@dicedrinksanddadjokes you are very welcome 🤗
This goblin town board is really coming together! Looks amazing
Thanks dude, a few more things to be done before it’s finished but we’re definitely getting there!
Love it, can’t believe I’ve never seen anyone use water to test for leaks before
Haha cool now you have! Thanks for watching 😊
10/10 for the leek pun.
Hehehe thank you good sir! 😁
Looks fantastic mate. The fish skeletons are a nice touch. Good shout with the test pores with water. I’ll make certain to try that myself.
Cheers mate! The fish were a pain in the arse to make but I’m glad I did in the end.
hot tip for leaks I've seen in other videos (not done any resin stuff ye myself): use UV resin to seal your resin area/do a first initial layer. any subsequent layers of resin should then have no issues with leaks and there's no need to blend andything as it's resin on resin
Nice! Yeah need to have a go with some UV resin one of these days. Thanks 😁
When the resin pours perfectly. Cny beat that feeling xD
Exactly. Nothing scares me more than a resin pour so when it pays off it feels so good! 😅
That water first test is good idea :)
Haha yeah I learned my lesson after my fails with the silicone moulds! 😅
I like bud. Love the merky look, and hats off to you for working in the fiddly little fish bits. I even learned something! Thanks. I can't wait to see more resin projects from you in the new year. Happy New Year!
Thank you so much! Yeah they were a pain to make but I’m glad I did in the end. Thanks again 😁
This looks so great! Very impressed with all of it.
Thank you very much! 😊
The Skeletons are absolutely inspired!!! That looks fantastic and I'm super glad I saw the idea of using water to test before pouring resin. Amazing stuff, can't wait for the next vid!!!
Thanks so much! 😊
Really good end result man!
Cheers mate!
Fantastic work. Loving the goblin town overall.
Thank you very much! 😊
Really cool
Thanks! 😁
Cracking video Adam - using water to test for leaks was clever. In hindsight, we should’ve done that with a large river board we made which leaked resin all over the place. Here’s to a strong 2024!
Thanks man! Appreciate the support 😊
That turned out so well
Thanks so much! 🙏
Looks brilliant! We love a resin pour 😂
Thanks mate! Nothing fills me with terror quite like resin! 😅
@@dicedrinksanddadjokes no disasters yet!
@@RabtasticPaints no I managed to avoid disasters this time! 😅
Fish for the win! They look so good!
Yaaay! Thanks so much Mark! 😊
Love your Goblin town build dude, absolutely stunning! The gollums cave bit really tops it off. Respect for sculpting the fish bones!.
Thanks so much my man! Very kind words 😊
So cool
Glad you liked it 😊
Another awesome video mate 👌🏻 such genius to pour the water beforehand 👏🏻 Also, seeing as no one else has said it: 8:14 - that’s what she said 😆
Haha someone had to say it! Thanks for watching Casey 😁
Great video as usual :) happy new year!!
Thank you! You too!
What about trying to seal leaks with a few drops of UV resin?
Yeah I think I’ll give that a go next time 😁
Awesome piece of terrain. The hours of work you did on this piece are really worth it. Good to hear about the mistakes made, so everybody could learn from it 👌
Thank you very much my friend 😊
I came to see a ruined resin pour but was really disappointed to see that you used some good techniques to avoid any disaster. Whilst I’m sure this will result in less clicks I can confirm I learnt a lot and after all isn’t that the most important thing!?
Haha yeah I think I learned my lesson with the recasting fails! 😅
Looks amazing 😍
Thanks Mark! 😁
