Jesse has so much untapped, or should I say, underrated talent. He is a beast, especially with the smooth transitions
Songs like these are the future of Deathcore. I think the reason I love FFAA so much is because they add a lot of atmosphere and gloom to the music. It’s not just blast beats and breakdowns. (Although they are fun). This song and Atonement have all the perfect elements for it. Mr Buttery Dolphin did a great job on drums for this record. But I hope TAIM keep making songs like this because they’re way more memorable and exciting to listen to

to me if thrash metal = heavy metal etc than deathcore = death metal..... death metal is more the genre, deathcore, black, doom etc are the styles! I love it all

So true! After being so attached to Lee's playstyle for years, it's hard for me to listen to different drumming on TAiM. But there's no denying that this guy is a beast.
Except Lee is so sloppy live. He writes sick drum parts but he doesn't have the double bass stamina or control that Jesse has. Watch any live drum cam and you can hear Lee's sloppy double bass

It's just so ridicilously clean. Those transitions from the calm parts to full on assault is just wtf. Also that unorthodox foot technique (the only minus to the editor in this vid is we don't really get to see that in detail). War Jesse!
@tampataaX The swivel has been around for a while. George Kollias, Eugene Ryabchenko, Adam Bjork, Ken Bedene, and Krimh are other guys who use it. It’s great for double-bass stamina once you master the motion.

Jesus god what a performance. The part from 3:10 to 3:40 is brutal. Those fills, that one at 3:24 is very very interesting. And that accent on splash during blast beat right after. Perfect detail.
