I found your channel through your bolster pillow pattern. I loved your simple and easy explanation of the Magic Circle. I self taught myself crochet during the quarantine, and I'm two afghans, and a dozen dice bags into my crochet-journey.

Hello,I do have a question , how do I keep my project straight.

Hi Barbara, If your project edges are not staying straight there could be a tension issue. You might be crocheting a bit too loose or a bit too tight and are having trouble seeing where to place your stitches at the beginning and ends of your rows. I would recommend using stitch markers at the beginning and end of each row so you can keep track of where they are. This should help keep your stitch count consist and therefore help keep your edges straight.
Give that a go and let me know how it works out for you.👍

I've experienced that it also doesn't work for garments worked from the top down(yokes).....makes the neckline too wide

Yes, it can happen - especially if you are a loose crocheter. Thanks for stopping in to comment:) Happy New year!
