Just want to thank you for the video. Very helpful, and I didn't think it was possible on my van. I had the rack in all sorts of ways and even pulled the springs out to see if that helps. The only way is the way you show, down from behind the engine. I will say I ended up removing 1 of the inner tie rods as well which seemed to help. When i fitted the new rack I removed both inners and both lines off just to help.
Hi there great video 1 question if you pause the video at 7.15 what is and where does the rubber pipe go! I've got the same van lost all fluid on way back from tge lakes at the weekend and that pipe is hanging from the engine but can't find where to re-attach it, thanks
@@fuelheadjay8800 Hey thanks man. I think I know what bolt you are referring to. Thank you for the video too. I have spent a good while following a manual to get the steering rack out, and that has led me astray. I've ended up cutting off nuts holding on part of my exhaust, only for it still not to come out!! argh. I'm going to try your method this week.
Great tutorial I believe it's the only one on RUclips for the mk2 master. Thanks
