Have watched Death in Paradise for many years. Filmed in small town of Deshaies Guadeloupe. There have been 4 chief inspector actors as they typically last 3 or so seasons. Reasons given is that filming location is so remote and long duration so actors are away from family, plus it is very hot with tropical temps and humidity plus all the lights while shooting. The happy music that plays after each murder has been discovered is "different".
Great to see your "new to you" larger sailboat has worked out so well. What was the condition of your standing rigging? Friend with cat just replaced due to candy cane stripe rust plus corroding turnbuckles.
Superb VID!! Color on black and white. Dream like editing. Can we describe the weather as cantankerous? Thank God el Nino winds drove the hurricanes away!! And your music selections are always surprising us.🎉

There are enough shots of the ocean and marina in Death in Paradise that if you make it down to Guadeloupe, the boat might make it into the show.
This video is one of your finest. I Loved the short clips showing the excitement and anticipitation of the arriving storm and done so well it was like I was there. Great editing and a great job making sure boat and everyone was ready. The work on the boat never seems to stop. Ugh.
Death in paradise is extremely popular in England , we enjoy it , a bit ‘aguther Christie ‘
Set on island off Curaçao but all filmed on Guadeloupe.

Helicopter carrying something is not unusual. Only for one that small. Wildest one I saw was a long time ago, Olga, the Skikorskyy Skycrane carried a radio mast to be installed on top of the CN tower in Toronto.

Thank you for another great video. The area sailed in this video reminds me of the first solo trip I took on my boat (Slipper 17 bt Starboards Yachts). I sailed singlehanded from Stuart Fl to St. Augustine, FL. It took me about 4 days or so and I anchored out each night. After staying with family in St.Augustine, I sailed back home. Great memories.
Helicopters out west carry either wild land fire fighting water buckets, saw blades for clearing trees near power lines, or helicopter logging.

Of course. No harm at all aside from more rapidly clogging the pre-filter.
If Molly wanted to get her loose teeth out try this, tie up one end of the loose teeth using 50 lb. test braided fishing line & the other to the dingy's cleat..then WOT on the throttle. Should work 😉
