@@antoniocarrion340i7 oof.. I am always lured to these because of the price. My staggered M2 fitment gets like 15k on the rears currently so the price difference maybe be a wash. Pay less up front but swap them out sooner for a tire that doesnt perform as well?
I have Yokohama YK740 GTX on my civic. Not racing tires but they are the best daily driver tires I’ve ever owned. Badass in wet conditions and had the highest grip rating when compared to others at discount tire. 👌
Love Yokohama tires they were original equipment on my NSX and used them until I couldn't get them anymore. I run Bridgestone potenza now. If I get new wheels per my plan I'll look at Yokohama again.
I needed this like a month ago when one of my tires decided to randomly split on the inside wall for my wrx 😭 glad to know what my next purchase is gonna be though
I have these for the rear tires and they are pretty good. Better in wet surfaces than ps4s. They’re a little more now than 2 years ago. Goin to try those nitto g2 for next spring.
I habe indy 500s on my 500whp car rwd, they are ok, but about 55 degrees and under that they are slick. if anyone thinks about them. Curious if this tire is better
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500. The only tire that compares to them is the Pilot Sport PS2 which is a $359 per tire. Firehawk is only $209 per tire. Still under $900 for a set of Firehawks, I have them personally and they’re remarkable.
Those tires have the weakest and softest sidewall of most “performance” tires ever. You’re crazy fuck if you think that the indy 500 is remotely close to the best around the $200 Mark. Dunlops, RS4’s, KR20, RT660 all MUCH better performance for the same money as Firehawks.
Update: After looking at a set of these for my Evo 8 the price went up almost matching the Michelin Pilot Spot 4S which are a better tire. Wish these kept the original price they were best bang for buck.
@@ulises8483 really? I’m looking at getting a set of these for my gti and it looks like they’re $60 cheaper a tire than the Michelins at discount tire (tire size is 225/40/18)
Hi there, could you please help me choose one of these Nexen tires that provides more comfort for a Crossover with 255/45/R20 tire size? 1. NFERA SUPREME (looks as the same as N5000 Platinum) 2. NFERA RU1 3. NFERA RU5 These are the ones that are available in my country/region, and I wanna pick the most comfortable one among those due to bumpy and rough roads here.
These suck in the rain and are supper squirrelly on a awd with more than 500hp totalled my build of 10 years on these tires cause the road was wet zero water channeling on these kumho ecsta 720v hands down best tire for the money
I hope that's 900 for the set...lol
Yessir!
A set of 2
I am a Marketing Manager at Discount Tire, I have had these on the subie and bmw. I can confirm these are sick tires and cheap
How often do you get a new pair/set of tires?
Aye discount tire Inw here
@@tomi3256 Depends, on the bmw I am staggered, so the rears maybe like 8-10k
WhiteWRX Subned, gonna follow your build 👍

How’s the tread wear?😊

Potenza sport isn't as good as conti SC7 and SC7 has 1mm more tread.
It's a fantastic tire, currently running them on my evo 9 and 21 sti
I needed this like a month ago when one of my tires decided to randomly split on the inside wall for my wrx 😭 glad to know what my next purchase is gonna be though
👀❤️
I have them on my RCF. Great dry grip. Will get these again
I'm super happy with my michelin ps4s. Great handling in the wet and dry, best daily tire for the road if you tell me.
well this confirms these are the tires I'm supposed to get they are in my cart right now
Did u like it?

i got advan flevas on my 93 celica
amazing performance for smaller cars
Finally! A tire that will bring out the beast in my Yugo that won’t cost me an arm and a leg 😂
hows about best performance tire in a 305/R19 ? under 1k
Good luck.
Maybe nankangs
Not really suitable for boost applications but can vouch for it being a solid handling tire
Do you have any good recommendations for boosted applications? My ATS-V needs some new rears and I'm planning on going up to 600 hp in the near future
Yeah, but can I stretch it?
Just get the cheapest tires u can if you gonna be a ricer.

I like my 500s because of the stiff side wall lol. If having issues deflate to around 32 to 34
I have these on my 2019 Honda Civic Type R, they hook perfect for stock power and they are quiet.

From what ive found. The Extreme contact sports seem to be the the only middle ground. 300 tread wear and 20-25k mile range. In my rim size anyway.

I needed to hear about these last week, noooo! I could have bought a new set of rears for what I'm paying for my one tire x.x
Oh no!😓
What tire could I use for my mx5 nb?
Good for challenger ? Rt
These are going on my new style 220s 🤩
Way better than Federal RS tires. Quite, stiff sidewall, longevity, hydroplane resistance. Nice for a daily that will see occasional track duty.
Day 50.5 of asking Fitment Industries to bring back Wheel History.
compare to ps4s ?
Eagle sport are good tire 🛞
These are some bad bois. Replaced my ps4s with these on my s550 mustang and I have minimum slip in the dry. Not bad in the wet either
I used this before replace it with ps4s and it’s very close to ps4s
Jeez, 31 seconds after it was posted.
Just wanna say I love you guys❤
We love you too
Mi love Yokohamas there amazing
Continental sport contact7 👌
DAY 168 OF SO YOU WANT A PONTIAC AZTEC
Is this really a hack though?
So you want a Mazdaspeed 6
Day 14 of asking for wagoon gang decals
Zestinos 07RS are less expensive and way sticky better for the track

Tread wear rating means nothing. You can't use that to compare between brands, only between different tires within the same company.
Day 110 so you want a Suzuki Vitara
Wrong, it dont look aggressive at all!!
And Nangkang NS-2R have 180w(street legal) cheaper and faster than this tyre
Are they good in the rain?

Good enough for normal drivin yes, i know people who use them on nurnberg ring in the rain.. on a porche
