Please don't be disappointed. He also can sing deeper voice but not too often. I would like to tell you a bit about his background. He got bullied a lot when his voice didn't change during puberty. He even tried to tone down his voice to avoid the bullying. He studied dentistry in Ukline when he was young but because of the language barrier, he changed to study Classical music and graduated from Ukline. He can sing over 12 different languages and he also can sing 5 different voices in one song called Dalabangba. His goal is to combine Classical and pop music together to introduce to those who don't know what Classical music is. He is a very humble, polite, and funny guy. Not much music can heal your soul but Zhou Shen's music can. His music has many gerner. If you are willing to dig into his music, you will be surprised. Thank you for reacting to Zhou Shen.
Btw, his last name is pronounced like "Joe". When he started studying Bel Canto in Ukraine, his teacher was a baritone, I believe, and Zhou Shen got nodules on his vocal chords from singing low. He had to return to China until his voice healed, and then he started training with a tenor. He only sang "like a man" during his training, and only sang eith his comfortably high voice in his room alone. He first sang in punlic with hs high voice in 2014 on The Voice China. He was very afraid to be ridiculed. He had been told there was no place in the music industry for a man with a high voice.
