Met you all on the Friday of Grand Opening. You were all as personable as I imagined & the store is phenomenal. Of course, I spent TOO MUCH. Will be back frequently.
I was there Friday and Sunday, I got to meet you all and you set me up with a ninja dagger and a penn battle 3 on friday.I caught the smallest flounder I've ever seen, but had a great time. It is a genuine pleasure to meet people that are who they are and are willing to help strangers any way they can. I got that vibe from all of you. you all made this old man very happy with the way you talked and took time with not just me but everyone you talked to. thanks for the help and the time spent, it meant alot.
The wife and I were there and it was great meeting you guys. You all have helped us with fishing in the bay and on the beach so much. Again congratulations on the store and the progress you guys have made.

Yup! Got to the grand opening and re-established connection with you, Matt. The place looks great. Wonderful inventory of everything needed for fishing down here - or many other places as well. I trust that the business will attract a lot of folks coming down this summer.
One suggestion - if it's possible, it would be good to have some way to attract people to your store. Signage, local ads, small cards in local restaurants, etc.

The sunrises alone are worth the trips! 🎉 And the water clarity is amazing! Rarely on the central coastal bend of Texas is it that good
Gotta say..it was a privilege to meet the three of you, Matt Brant and Brad. Even talked with Courtney and Melanie. COURTNEY COCKROACHES!!! These creators are exactly as advertised on the videos. Couldn't be anymore genuinely happy to give advise and Matt even told me one of his spots, which I will take to my grave...or sell for 20 bucks.. no definitely take to my grave. Did manage a couple fish despite rough conditions. Again thanks!!!

Why not try some attractant on your baits in those conditions. If they can't see the bait they sure can " smell" it

Hubby and I were there 5 days lol. It was great meeting all of you and getting to chat a bit. We are just now crossing back into Missouri. Best anniversary trip ever!
My wife and I made the Grand Opening on Friday, enjoyed meeting y'all and plan to come back.
Unfortunately I had to work. I had planned on coming down today (Thursday), but had vertigo and my wife didn’t want me to drive the 100+ miles. So, I ordered me a Bummy Stick on line and the Beach Bum Outdoor staff had it shipped in just a few hours. I will be getting it tomorrow! So pumped!!!

You got to fish the Outer Banks.
N.C and S.C around Myrtle Beach and Murrell"s Inlet to go out to the gulf stream fishing.
Don't do what I did and went out in Feb.
It was terrible.
Most times I can sleep all the out even if it is not the best in the world.
I have had people ask how my husband can do that and he would just say oh, she just use to doing that.
See when I was a kid just 18 my friend's dad give me a job working for him on a boat. So that is why I can sleep so good on a bad because I sleep and worked on one for two years. My nickname was LittleBit.
I was little but boy I had a bit.
I had a guy on another boat that gave me a hard time and he pissed me off and I landed a bottle between his feet and my captain said all right Little Bit and it keep.
Sorry to be long and tell you a story but I thought you would get a kick about the bottle. By the way the bottle was a long neck beer bottle and Pineapple because he was Hawaiian get the message and shut up for a while but we never could stand each other.😊

It was fun and i enjoyed meeting you. Got some surf casting in on Johnson’s beach in Perdido although it was mot productive with thewind and high surf - I’ll be back.
Topwater has been rough for us all I think this year. I live in Richmond, VA and travel to Cape Hatteras, NC often, and the topwater has been null so far. Even bass fishing back home, topwater bite has been off. BTW, what kind of tackle bag is that you have to walk the beach? Do you have them in y'all's store? Cheers to you and your fam man!

I like using a shiny dark black lure in dirty water , to me its more visible than any other shade or color. Everything else seems to blend in. Give it a try 😉
What kind of rod like is it a medium heavy or just a heavy?
Two questions: 1) are you tying every time or quick connect? 2) ever try a popping cork from the beach?
Do you normally go home and take a break for the afternoon bite, or do you mostly stay all day fishing from sunrise to sundown.
Got to come in on Tuesday with the family and grab my first surf rod and new shades. You and Courtney were awesome. My daughter loved her (and her BBO tattoo she gave her). Love to see good people doing great things. Keep it up! Can’t wait to watch this thing grow.

I was there Sunday with my walker (just had a knee replaced) and got to eat you and Brant. Brad was running around and I couldn’t catch up to him with my bum knee. I regret that I didn’t get to meet Courtney or Melanie. Maybe next time.
You all are deserving of such a great store. I must say, it looked bigger in the videos, and I’m not saying it’s not big, it is just the right size.

I made it down there from Maryland with my dad for the grand opening and had a great time, it was awesome seeing the store and getting to chat with y’all there! Definitely hopped on board the fishing struggle bus while I was down there though, it was tough

bluefish are some of the most fun fish to catch in the spring on long island, best fighting fish pound for pound in our area. Just be prepped to lose some rigs and besides that you’re good. Love catching those guys

I thought about skipping the store on Saturday but I'm glad I had a chance to chat with you guys. I caught a couple blues from the pier using the BB rig from the pier box. I'll have to try top water and jigs in the surf. The guy from Seattle.
Was there with my family and we talked about the BG MQ and my RUclips channel. So thankful for the great advice you gave me! First fish with it was a toad fish …. But followed it up with a solid 10lb red fish !

Matt, Bill from Benton, AR! I was at the Grand Opening on Friday. I met you, Brant and Brad. I even got to say hello to Courtney and Annalise! I know that a LOT of hard work took place to make your event as fabulous as it was. I had a great time and enjoyed meeting all of you. It was a good thing I made it on Friday. We were camping at Ft Pickens and got evacuated Saturday afternoon because high waves and tide was expected to flood the roads. We just started heading back home to Benton, AR because they told us it wouldn't open until Monday!!!! It was still a great trip for me and my wife. For me, the highlight was getting to meet you and the other guys. What a great team you have put together!!!!
