Though I was only 6 when Shining Time Station premiered, I was already a Beatles fan, so getting to see Ringo on a children’s show was an extra treat. 💙
Watching this brought back so much nostalgia for me. I watched this show religiously growing up so it was cool seeing all the behind the scenes footage. Thanks for this 🤩👍🏾
I never knew this much history of shining time station you have a very great vid and underrated channel is an underrated channel keep up the great work
Thank you so much for making this video. I was 6 years old when they ended the show and I was so sad. I remember 13 years ago I would watch the show on RUclips at the age of 19 and I still love it.
Thank you for creating this video. When people talk about Thomas the Tank Engine, they rarely talk about Shining Time Station. At one point, I almost thought that I hallucinated it as a child! Thank you for affirming I wasn't hallucinating 😀
Thank you for watching! I’m right there with you about the feeling like you were hallucinating. Literally no one in my life has ever mentioned this show or knew what I was talking about when I would bring it up, but yet they knew who Thomas the Tank Engine was 🧐
My hobby is all about preservation, so I hope that shining time station will be released on DVD someday or on a streaming service, like prime video or something like that because I’m a fan of that show too.
I loved this show when I was a kid, though I never saw every episode until they were posted on here. I just recently watched the series finale, "How The Station Got It's Name." It was pretty awesome even though I didn't remember seeing it when I was little. For some odd reason, "The Joke's On Schemer" is also a huge favorite episode. The scenes of him dropping his pants and accidentally squirting disappearing ink in his eyes are stuck in my head, as is the Jack-o-lantern incident from "Scare Dare", which legit used to scare me fr when I was very little. Ringo Starr was great on this show, but sadly with the exception of the Christmas special, I don't remember any of the 1st season from my childhood.
It’s funny because I remember the first season more than the others. It was years later I watched back and saw George Carlin as Mr. Conductor and then I started questioning if I only imagined Ringo Starr in the role 🤣
George Carlin called himself the anti Pete Best because Ringo Took Pete’s place as the Beatles drummer and Pete Best never got famous as the Beatles drummer and George Carlin says he took Ringos place as Ringo Starr and Ringo never got famous as mr conductor. You don’t need a DVD release since we can stream on You Tube

Ahh that was wonderful to see! We built and performed the Juke Box Band puppets & marionettes on the series.
Oh wow! Those characters are memorable even today. Thank you for your part in shaping this wonderful show ❤️
Hi Craig!
Hi Jonathan.
The jukebox was my favorite as well. I am glad to see it is now in a new home and has Been restored.
I grew up watching it. The jupebox band and Mr conductor played by Ring Starr was my favorite.
Same here!

Thank you for watching my video! The show is delightfully wholesome. It’s like he visual equivalent of wearing a warm blanket on a cool morning.

You are so underrated but your content is so awsome
Wow, thank you!
Practice, practice, practice.

Can you do one for Alec Baldwin? (He narrated Season 5)
THIS IS NOT FAIR THAT SHINING TIME STATION GETS ANY RECONITION FROM THOMAS FANS!
