I'm trying to burn cds with a android or tablet so I took a hard drive out of a PC and connected it to a android using a usb data cable.I was thinking a PC can open and use a cd/dvd drive because a PC has a hard drive to burn cd's that why I connected it to the Android.My question is how do you open the hard drive when you connect it with a android ? Yes I downloaded the app but do you have to pay for the app for the app to work????

It worked, all I had to do was make it DEFAULT!! THANKS!!! Well thanks to the software technically, but thanks to you for letting me know about it. Btw unlike most using OTG/OTG cable, I just find a flash drive that has a Type -C, which I've had for over half a year now, very useful. it's a sandisk 120 or so GB I believe, and has an alternative USB A 3.0/3.1 for PC's and such. I can also use an OTG adapter (like for example, the male part being to insert into the phone, whatever type of USB is compatible with the phone's charging port, to female, for the drive insertion,) much better and less messier than using a cord.

Hello, i have problem with my phone and that app.
My phone doesn't support ntfs drive, i tried to follow the steps in your video but gave me nothing..
So i think the problem is in my ntfs drive not enough power supplied from my phone.
Then i tried to connect my flashdrive (Fat32 formatted) to my phone and working normally without using any apps.
I tried to change my flashdrive fat32 format to ntfs format then i plugged in to my phone and gave me same problems with my hdd drive i used before.
The paragon app showing this:
"Connected device is not supported" sometimes "permission for connected device is not granted"
You have any solutions?
Device i used:
Samsung s9 plus (android 10 one ui 2.5)
Toshiba 1TB HDD
ADATA 8GB FD
OTG 3.0 TYPE C
I have tried it and it was detected, but the words 'connecting' appeared non-stop. Any suggestion?

It depends on your drive, there is no need of external power source in modern drives.
