RIP Robert Stack the best host for Unsolved Mysteries!
I still can't believe he's gone
@@gabrielleelliott2487but he left behind all his scenes
Agreed 1000000% nothing but respect for Mr stack😊
Agreed!! He had the perfect voice for this classic series.
No doubt!
Going behind the scenes shows how much Unsolved Mysteries is proud of this show. I never thought this would happen but can’t wait to watch this.
Where is it supposed to air. RUclips?
@@brandonrowsell7989thats a good question.
his voice still scare me im 41 years old, i still watch this show in the dark RIP robert stack
Finally, I've always wanted someone to do a comprehensive overview of this show's impact and legacy because it doesn't get near enough credit. I'm glad to see that it's the creators themselves sharing this.
I'd say it's what started the entire true crime genre.
Probably no show I watched as a child has as much impact on me as an adult. This looks amazing. Robert Stack is the GOAT. RIP.
Nothing will ever take away the charm of the original series. No reboots, new versions or anything. I'm so excited we're still getting updates and new stuff from the original show. Can't wait!
@@quentinquale1694 I didn't say it was bad dummy. Read again!
Count me in. My favorite show as a kid. The episodes with aliens always had my hiding under my blankets.
Mine were the Ghosts, Legends, and Treasure segments.
I grew up with Robert Stack. R.I.P, thank you for all the memories.
I was addicted to this show growing up. Amazing cast, crew, stories.⭐️🏆
Yeah, I waited for it to come on every week...then, years later, binge watched the whole series. It was good and scary because of the music, cinematography and Bob Stack's serious delivery.
Me too😊
It was aired in Indonesia's national TV in the early 90's, and it made me lock all my door and window. The ambience is thrilling, the host, the story. Great moment
I wasn't an 80s kid, but I grew up watching it during the 90s. Robert Stack pretty much made the show. To this day I try and marathon all original 12 seasons every year.
I love this show, and Robert Stack! Rest in peace, Robert Stack.
This show scared me as a kid. Nothing beats Robert Stack as the host. I can’t wait to watch the bts anniversary tribute.
I was one of those fans that wrote in. In 4th grade we had to write to any celebrity and I wrote to Robert Stack and asked him to do more ghost segments 🤣
i discovered this show during the pandemic. my ex-girlfriend and i watched sooo many episodes, we never got tired of it !!
oh you watched it on cable in 2020?
not cable but when you have a smart tv you get free channels. and there's literally an unsolved mysteries channel that plays nothing but unsolved mysteries 24/7@@user-ee1vs6wt2b
@@user-ee1vs6wt2bPluto tv has it
The music written for Unsolved Mysteries is some of the best music ever for a tv show.
Grew up watching this show. I never missed an episode. Robert Stack was the best host ever. R.I.P. 🙏🏾
STILL and always be my favorite show!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
First
Best show of all Time!
Yes 💯
Went and rewatched the Robert Stack, Dennis Farina, and even the Netflix one, as well as the podcast.
Glad that even their site is still updating as well. Keep up the work.
Awesome!!! This show scared the shit outta me as a kid, but I always kept coming back! Robert Stack was the man!
Unsolved mysteries is definitely still my favorite show of all time and Robert Stack Rest In Peace here;)
Robert Stack is a national treasure.
Awesome. I've been a fan of U.M since the late 80's. Been waiting to hear from its creators. R.I.P Robert Stack.
It can't be overlooked that one of the reasons Unsolved Mysteries was a big hit was because it aired in the right time; the 80s was such a perfect setting for these creepy stories.
Also, the synthesized thriller music and analog motion graphics made the intro iconic.
That along with Robert Stack's overall appearance and demeanor really made that show.
Robert Stack and this show were Solid Gold!
The best television series ever created.
This is going to be awesome!!!!
Loved this show and never missed a single episode
Rip Robert stack the best host of unsolved mysteries ever period facts 💯✌️.
Yes definitely excited about this. I routinely rewatch the episodes here on RUclips and applaud the efforts of adding updates for the viewers for many of the cases.
*current updates
No one could compete with that voice. Robert Stack was awesome.
I'm 37, been looking at this since I was 7 and absolutely love it! I'm so glad they are giving Robert Stack his flowers.
Used to watch Unsolved Mysteries with my Mom back when I was very little. It was definitely a show that could send the chills down even the strongest of spines. It especially had I think the coolest looking logo that any show could ever have. And of course, the unmistakable presence of the late and great Robert Stack provided the icing on the cake to make one of the greatest shows in entertainment history.
Rest In Peace Robert Stack. 🕵🏼♂️🇺🇸
So many of us had similar childhood experiences with this show! ❤
Best show on TV ever! I still watch it regularly
Awesome. Rarely has a show on TV chilled me with its opening theme and host like Unsolved Mysteries theme and Robert Stack did. Still as memorable today as it was watching it as a kid.
what a show it was! i’m excited to go behind the scenes!
This show fueled my fascination for true crime and the paranormal.
1980 baby here. I grew up watching this show with my grandma and continued watching it to this day. Lol
RIP Robbie.
Looking forward to the show in October 2023. The show would be a true tribute to Robert Stack.
Yes!
Would be very interested to watch! I remember my parents watching this back in the days and as an adult I’ve watched quite a bit of the reruns tbh it’s crazy that even some unsolved mystery cases that I’ve watched such as the Golden State killer case and they’re still actively updating even as recent as 2020 mainly because of the DNA.
Grew up watching Unsolved Mysteries. Such a great show with a great purpose.
Growing up as a kid being sick home from school I would watch price is right with Bob Barker then at 12:00 noon here in Michigan unsolved mysteries would always come on for two hours on lifetime. Brings back a lot of memories. This was during late 90s early 2000s.
That's right! I was trying to remember the station it came on and I was in PA so it was 1 o'clock I was watching it. We're talking around 2003 or 2004. I remember it from the 90s but I really started watching a lot of it in reruns and scaring the hell out of myself.
@@osaji922 it always aired on Lifetime lol
@@user-ee1vs6wt2b In reruns, yeah. It originally aired on NBC and then I think a short stint on CBS before going to cable.
@@osaji922 how often did you watch it in 2004?
Looking forward to seeing this
Unsolved Mysteries is my favorite television show. I absolutely love it. I am especially impressed with the stories about paranormal phenomena. They are absolutely fascinating and show us that the human mind is so much more powerful than most people realize. Robert Stack was wonderful as host of Unsolved Mysteries. His deep, steady, authoritative voice held the audience's attention. Robert Stack also had a real passion for the stories he was covering. Stack also radiated integrity and respect for his television audience. Robert Stack embodied all of the best qualities of the Greatest Generation, of which he was a proud member.
The one who started the original reality crime mystery show ❤ There’s non other like the Robert Stack❤
Let's give it up for FIlmRise who hosts these episodes for us on RUclips for all to watch. I really appreciate you bringing back my childhood summers watching these every morning
I cannot wait. I still watch it almost everyday even though I’ve seen every case many, many times. Let’s go!
For the longest time the theme song scared the daylights out of me ever since I was a kid and stuck in my head to the point where I wouldn't want to watch because the song was so scary but the show is so good you just have to watch, now I'm binging all these episodes and I'm realizing how much I missed! Bob Stack was a legend, RIP.. to the producers and creators, thank you for this beautiful show, you have all single-handedly change television forever! ❤️🙏😀
Exactly! They had reruns back in 04 when I was growing up at night. The theme scared me from the dark. to this day as a grown man built construction guy. I hate the dark
Same here. I was about 10 when it premiered and the theme song scared the everlovin' bejeezus out of me. I was terrified to go outside at night by myself, especially on Wednesday nights when the episodes came on, thinking that I was about to either be kidnapped, murdered, or witness a ghostly or paranormal encounter of some sort 😂 I just turned 46 a couple of weeks ago and even as a retired Army veteran I STILL don't like to be outside by myself at night to this very day.
Two of the scariest voices of murder and mystery tv. Robert Stack and Peter Thomas! R.I.P. to both 🐐’s! 🫡👍🙏
Oh my God, it's the middle of the night while I'm half asleep, and I'm still so excited to read this news!! I grew up with Unsolved Mysteries, and to this day it's still one of my favorite shows that I re-watch regularly.
This looks great! I would love to see this!
Watching this as a kid home alone in the dark with Robert Stacks voice terrified me but for some reason I kept watching 🤔
I watch this program everyday, here on RUclips or on Tubi T.V.... it feed my nostalgia ❤
RIP Robert Stack … can’t wait to see this
Robert Stack, was…… THE BEST!
OMGGGGGG YESSSSSSS, PLEASEEEEE! So sad Robert Stack is not alive anymore to join, RIP, wonderful man.
This show was one of the greatest things about being a kid in the 80s. Every week my family would get in the living room with popcorn and soda, turn the lights off, and it would just be the eerie glow of the tv. Then that title card comes sweeping in, and that theme song kicks in. So strange and frightening, yet so compelling. I would always smile a little to myself as a small shiver ran up my back. Then you were treated to an hour of just the coolest stuff. Re-creations of unsolved crimes. UFO encounter. Ghosts and all kinds of weird and disturbing mysteries from all over the world and back in time. And, of course, the great and legendary Robert Stack narrating us through it all with his firm yet oddly soothing voice... Some of my best memories.
Stack kept the show passed 5 seasons. UM found a new platform and media on podcasts and they stopped!!! Bring it back. It’s never too late.
Man I love this show so much! Was addicted to it as a child. I binge watch it on PlutoTV all time. Makes me feel like I am back in the 80’s and 90’s again. Watching the earlier episodes late in the A.M adds a little creepiness. It still saddens me that some of these mysteries aren’t solved and never will be.
dont be SAD for this unsolver mysteries never solved....PERHAPS one day SOMEONE will solve them...PERHAPS....YOU
Being a kid in the '90s watching Unsolved Mysteries with my mom used to freak me out. And Stack's voice made it all the creepier.
Without question one of my all time favorite shows. No other actor could have hosted it better than Robert Stack! Looked forward to it every week!!
Favorite episodes had to be, in no specific order:
-Abraham Lincoln & John Wilkes Booth
-Huey Long
-The Hum
-Marfa lights
-The Casie Nicole boat
-Mona Lisa
-The 1962 Alcatraz escape
-George J. Stein
-The Bigfoot ones 🦶 😁
The first reality tv show of all time & the very best reality show of all time. No matter how many times you watch the entire series it just never gets old. Excellent Show.
Fantastic ,finally they are gonna pay Homage to Bob Stack
now we can watch all the old episodes free too its awesome
Been watching this show since I was a kid in the 80s and 90s. What I really like, is that these stories now have updates, which makes it worth watching over and over again. Hands down scariest and most entertaining TV show I've seen to date.
I use to be so scared of Unsolved Mysteries as a kid but now I watch the 24/7 channel on Pluto TV and I’m obsessed with this show. Robert Stack is a genius and may he Rest In Peace.
Salute 🫡 Robert Stack
Loved this show… love love love the spooky reenactments. It makes the show better
This show created so many new innovations that inspired many documentary filmmakers, including myself. To see how it all came together will be incredible!
Looking forward to this. It's amazing how many cases were solved literally during the broadcast or shortly afterwards. The new format is "meh" as they're stretched out way too thin. I would love to see more behind the scenes about the series.
between 1988 through 1994 on Wednesday nights on NBC. I was in front of the T.v... LOVE those UFO, Reincarnation, and Near-death experience stories.
Watching this show as a new immigrant was very eye opening
I started from ep1 s1 on Amazon when COVID started, finally gonna get through s12 now. I was a diehard then and still am, thanks for the great programming.
One of the best produced shows of all time
So excited for my favorite show of all time
RIP Robert Stack 💐🙌he used to scared tf outta me that coat and his calm voice I'm so glad they released all the episodes on all platforms
Same 🤣🤣🤣
I loved the show when it first aired. The original theme song gave me the creeps in the dark. Overall, it was amazing. Looking forward to the behind the scenes moments. My best part was hearing updates of solved cases. RIP Robert Stack.
I remember coming across unsolved mysteries and was curious so I watched it and I was hooked with Robert stack bless his heart. May you rest in peace with the angels, you are the best.❤
Yay!! Can't wait to see this! This show is what originally inspired my love for things based on a true story and grew up watching this show. I still love this show and now get to see how behind the scenes is done along with everyone talking about how proud they are of all the things that contributed to the show's success throughout the years along with how many times the fans helped solve case's that helped others in need of answer's and just in need of help in whatever case it was.
Robert stack rest in peace guy is legendary!
This will always be one of my favorites.
I am incredibly blessed to have grown up watching this series!
Was born in the 80s grew up on this show fantastic still watch it today on Tubi at lunchtime
Wow, now they're doing a documentary on it. Pretty cool. Show used to spook the hell out of me back when I was watching the reruns in 2004 but I just couldn't stop watching. True crime will always be the best horror to me. You just can't top the everyday real life crime stories as bad as that sounds. You just pray that you don't have to live it yourself.
oh how often did you watch reruns in 2004?
@@user-ee1vs6wt2b It was over the summer.
Robert Stack will be a legend forever.
Can’t wait !! Would love to see some outtakes

One of the best shows of all time.
Oh man exciting! This is legit my favorite show. Even today I still watch these episodes constantly
The only series that game me the chills then and still give them to me now. Ghost, Urban Legends, and UFO segments were my favorite.
Auhh i HATED the ufo and ghost ones😅😅
Cant wait to see it !! Childhood Memories❤
Robert Stack you were the best.
I loved watching this show as a kid and freaking myself out
This show gave me nightmares on a regular basis. Robert Stack embellished the term " burnt beyond recognition"!
