What couse it to happen in the first place,?
It's not working the message shown "access denied as you do not have sufficient privileges or the disk may be locked" It is another user in my laptop it is used by my son and this account is non admin account and there is no window button is working nor this cmd is working
Did this 23-05-19, the method still works. Did the first method and immidiatly it fixed my Windows button, Taskbar and Actioncentre (The little side menu). Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!

After stc /scannow I click on entre button but it show like

Back up data and restore windows if you cant find any other solution.
I have the same issue since maybe 8 month. None of the solution on the Internet seems to work. Killing explorer.exe and waiting like 3 min before executing explorer.exe solve temporary the problem until the next time I start WIndows 10. I solved an error in the event manager for the path of ucrtbase.dll which is linked with explorer.exe but at the end I got the exact same issue without any error logged in the the windows events. I post a solution here if one day I find the solution without a major windows reset :D

Idk what is this for, but my laptop is glitched, the buttons are glitched, it presses on its own and when i click on start menu or that search thing it open and instantly closing, i can't do anything.

OMG AT FIRST IT RESTARTED THE WHOLE THING I WAS ABOUT TO BREAK MY PC, BUT THEN I UN DID SAFE MODE AND IT WORKS EVEN BETTER WITHOUT RESTART TYSM

when i click left and right many time menu is show up ???
when you right click the window symbol yes you see a menu but its not the start 'apps' menu which is where the issue he's trying to address.

Try Ctrl-Alt-Del first.... and shut down at bottom right. Then boot up. See if that helps first.

I am very concerned. Out of nowhere my start menu stopped working, I cannot go into my settings, the whole entire computer is slow and I can not open up videos or photos because of some registry error

@@Self5 Yeah. But what if the settings is not even allowing me to uninstall programs. Which program would I uninstill if I was to get the program uninstalled?

Hello. Im having problems with my laptop. Here is the situation, for example I have 3 sticky notes open then I minimized and tried to reopen it doesnt respond. This is also the time when I noticed that evertime I open a new window it seems the first icon on it is selected. for example on facebook, everytime I clicked on any icons like comment or homepage, there is always a square or box outlining the selected icon. I even noticed that I can drag a tab outside of the browser.

Not only my start menu not opening but also my wifi menu lol im so panic rightnow, every time i clik there just loading icon pop out and thats it,
