Love your videos. Seriously a great resource. Great tone. I play these songs weekly and sometimes I like these videos a bit more than the resources sydney gives us. Keep up the good work.
+wwinford we get some guitar tutorials but sometimes they are a few weeks late. Sometimes I can't find the ones for say young and free unless they take the time to do tutorials for those songs too. But your tutorials help fill in the gaps nicely.
Hi brother, I'm so blessed with this song and the way you played it. If it's okay with you, I'd like to ask a favor, if you can make tabs for this song so I can play it the way you did as I'm still learning to play guitar. Thank you and God bless you :)
Sorry man, I don’t do tabs. I do these videos specifically for guitarists at my church, but they also end up helping others out as well. I encourage you to begin to develop your ear to pick out parts. Tabs are great, but I feel like that’s an easy way out to learning a song. Put in the hard work and practice by using your ear and in return one day it will benefit you greatly in your musical ability
BPM 72.5 dotted? or something different? Delay Mix sounds 75 - - 100%? I Use a timeline if you could help me out that would be great we are playing it this weekend! Excellent job
wwinford wow! You’re amazing! 😀 I can’t make that fast hehe I really wanted to be like you as a lead guitarist! .. I know you’re using chord shapes and inversions in this version. Man you’re really amazing! 😀
wwinford By the way Sir, If you don’t mind, I just have a little bit question. I do not need tabs or tutorial for this version, I just want to ask how did you arrive in that kind of lead version? Because it sounds really great! I know you improvised some parts of it. Like when I hear this song the first thing I did was to listen to it first and familiarize. Then I will get the key through hearing and as well as the chord progressions. I expected already that its uses major scale because most of the songs in Hillsong are using major scales. Then I will use chord shapes and inversions . But the next step its blank for me to arrive in your version 😐 like I know I’m already did some steps in becoming lead guitarist but thats all I know for now. I know that being able to make lead parts its not really in the skills of the hands, I believe it is in the Mind.. If you could share some list of fundamentals or aspects for me to be able to play like you then I would be very glad sir and I would have a big debt of gratitude to you sir. I’m hoping for your answer sir I will wait for it. Thankyou so much! May God bless you more!
James Sumaljag I didn’t really make up the parts to this song, we buy the tracks from multitracks.com for our worship team, and I just listen to the guitar parts from that. The parts are 100% correct on multitracks because they come straight from the artist. So I don’t have to make up any parts since the official ones are in the tracks for me to listen to
danny cervantes rhythm part is capoed on the 2nd fret and comes in on verse 2 picking though chords, then the rest on the song is strummed on low open chords
JamesNathanielVlogs I consider it to be a tutorial because I note the effects in real time with the song and do an occasional slowed down part at the end of the video
Nothing like the sound of a great Tele in worship music. Great job.

Do you play at Hillsong? If so, what kind of resources do they give?

+Alex Reynolds where are these tutorials you are talking about? I don't think I've ever seen a Young and Free tutorial video
+wwinford no that's what I'm saying. We usually have main Hillsong stuff but even for us it's hard to find young and free tutorials.
+Alex Reynolds Gotcha. So they don't do any more tutorials than the ones that they do when a new Hillsong Worship album is released?

Thank you!
I know you probably hate gear questions, but I'm just curious are those stock MIM pickups?
+Kristopher Kinzie they are actually Nocaster pickups
excelente brother
How long did you take to make that version? I really wanted to become like you because you played very well . God bless you
James Sumaljag not long, maybe an hour or two

Great sound, would be much easier if you put up some tabs to show the basic positions for some of these chords. :)
Yea but learning them like this will make you better :)
@@benbmusic88 not really how I learn bud
Still?
@@benbmusic88 not sure what you're getting at.... you're the one replying to a 4yo comment.
@@speciesofjael I just mean that after 4 years, you haven't learned how to learn by ear or by watching player's fingers.
