My system was getting so bad I couldn't even delete anything from the desktop without that stupid thing popping up and nearly preventing me dragging anything to the recycle bin! Thank you. The worthless defender miss classified a file as a virus, when it's not. I don't need daddy Microsoft to tell me how to operate a PC. I've used PCs since the days of DOS. Just give me control of the system. Constantly having to change or "fix" things Gates Schwabsoft breaks. I'm getting so fed up with modern day windows and will switch as soon as possible.

Delete the file he made you write, the one named DisableAntiSpyware. Just delete it and restart your computer that should fix it.

The file on Regedit vanished, Windows Defender returned, and my Surfshark antivirus was disabled.
I'm doing it all again, but I need to figure out how to disable the annoyance of W. Defender altogether.

Use Malwarebytes if this isn't working. Youll need to turn off tamper protection on the windows defender and the others then turn it on in malwarebytes and malware bytes will control your security, its free

Type in DisableRealtimeMonitoring and turn off tamper protection, that’s how you get this to work. Your tamper protection must be off.

@@TheRealJarvmeister you don't mess you regedit, every time you do it it only gets worse. The windows registry editor is nicknamed hydra in our field, because just like the greek monster that when you cut its head 2 new ones grow in the place, when you try to solve a problem through regedit not only it doesn't solves it but also creates a totally different and unrelated problem out of nowhere. Ive seen people damaging the OS so hard that it had to be formatted. Thankfully I've never experienced hardware damage tho. Ive swore to never touch it again
