    Buddy, you need to adjust or cross your threads before throwing a knot so that you don't need to cross your hands at the end...a suggestion !

    i usually just hold the needle with my teeth so it doesn't get in the way

    what about the needle ... is it still in the right hand ...when I try it always gets in the way especially when you pull through the loop

    I thought one handed was harder to learn tbh. But maybe I just practiced so much with 2hand first.

    If you are tying the way demonstrated here, the needle should be in your left hand.
