As someone who is part of the Pan Am Museum foundation, and who is also a huge fan of Pan Am, this is the best ASMR video I have ever seen. PS I love the use of real Pan Am artifacts such as the 1960s Pan Am ticket I have one just like that one. I also love the Pan Am cigarette tray and the Pan Am timetable. love the dedication. I love it.
This video reminds me of when I was 8 we visited my Grandmother in Japan. On our flight home we were the first Pan Am flight that flew nonstop from Japan to New York in 1976. 😊Thank you for a comforting, reminiscent video 🥰
You're extra lucky because those nonstop flights from Japan to New York were flown by the Boeing 747SP, an extremely rare plane nowadays, only 45 were ever built and the only 2 747SPs that still fly are test beds for the aircraft engine manufacturer Pratt and whitney, so along with flying on the first ever direct Japan to New York flight, you also got to fly on a very special plane :)
@@KirbyAyanami hey there’s a Pratt & Whitney manufacturing plant in the town I live in. They offer a mighty fine amount of jobs and hell they’re one of the only places in the area with a pension and 401(k) still. Left.
I started this video to try and fall asleep last night, but instead my eyes were glued to the screen. Which led to a hour of searching up old pan am photos and researching why they were so special. Came for sleep but instead learned new things. And fell asleep after lol win win thank you!
Honestly, I've said it before, but I'll repeat myself - your videos are so amazing! Your voice is perfect, gentle, soothing - like a balm. Then your props - the creativity and authenticity!! You put so much effort in those and it shows - it's cinematic and beautiful! Please never stop making those videos!
When I was in high school, I was obsessed with the (sadly) very short-lived Pan Am TV series on ABC! It starred Christina Ricci and Margot Robbie (just before Margot Robbie really took off to become the movie star we know her as today.) For Christmas that year, my parents bought me a replica Pan Am carry-on bag that I treasure to this day. You just can't beat that gorgeous logo! I would have loved to have been around to have flown on a Pan Am flight during their heyday. I love all of your videos, but I'm extra excited for this one!
I've got one of those. I used to see the real ones when I was a kid and wanted one so much, so I was really happy to see the replicas. I got a replica passport wallet too.
Sooo many memories! I’m totally in love with your videos and I only just found them thinking….. there is absolutely NO WAY I’m going to find an ASMR from 1967 !! 😂 But there you were, with these BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL videos FULL of the most wonderful item, bringing all these memories that are literally FLOODING my brain! At the same time that I am so relax and peaceful seeing this and listening to you, I’m sort of dozing 😴 off with a big smile on my face and a brainful of love! THANK YOU 🙏🏼 ❤
My step dad worked for Pan Am back in the 70's out of Nairobi, Kenya. We traveled all over the world many times on 747's. My little sister and I were allowed to go up the spiral staircase to the lounge where stewardesses would bring us icecream sundaes! Real silverware back then! And lots of free toiletries were given in a sweet toiletry bag. We would be able to make beds in the middle row which had i ithink 6 seats across. Those were amazing times. We would get dressed up fly anywhere.
Oh my goodness, I had some similar experiences! I loved the spiral staircases. Flying now is…well, different. Oh, and I dressed up too as a child and was on my best behaviour on flights ✈️
I love this video! So many tingles and so addictive. I’ve been watching it on a loop all night for two nights now. And it’s on my ASMR favorites playlist.
@@MidModMeridianASMR Was it in your q&a that you showed the PanAm logo, a long while ago? I have been excited for this ever since, and the fact that you made it into a series with a narrative thread makes it even more special! ❤
Yes, Rocsanna, I did that Q&A in January. Sometimes it takes me a while to collect all the props I need for a new set. ☺️ I’ve been excited for this one, too!! 🛫✨
this video is keeping me company on a flight of my own tonight! i find your ASMR roleplays so calming and engaging, and as a somewhat jittery flyer it's really helping me along - so thank you so much!

My grandmother traveled alot and I remember my mom with us 3 kidsbtaking her to LAX in the 70's it wasn't to much different than this video. I remember the big tickets in the envelope even in the early 80's when I went to Europe in 84

The audio is crisp and delicate and the effort in the scenery is surreal. I’m amazed you aren’t much more popular! Amazing! Your upload caught my attention during gentle whispering asmr Maria's video and what a spoiled night I'm having! I enjoy watching your videos when I'm not quite tired enough to fall asleep so I can enjoy as much as possible.... before falling asleep!
Oh, the props are like VSMR... . The airline colours and graphics in the items and clothes lend so much ambiance. Marvellous! None of the following stream of conciousness is particularly ASMR-y but memories all the same from growing up in an Air Canada household (airline mechanic) - the sounds of the clack-clack of traveller's heels on the Dorval Airport tiles, the gentle thuds of luggage being sat down on the tiles, the crisp tones of the bongs and voices of the airport overhead announcements, the punching and shuffling of boarding passes before the flights, the gentle buzz of whatever was on the 25-cent-for-30-minutes coin-operated TV set chairs, the arrangement of newspapers when you got on board and the snap of the overhead lockers closing and the tearing open of the small packets of peanuts and Life Saver candies, the clink of the metal cutlery, the ding of the cabin attendant lights and whoosh of the air diffusers above as you twisted to adjust the rate and direction. The only things I don't miss were the smell of airline fuel in the actual passenger terminals, women's hairspray and smoking *everywhere*. Thank you!
Ohhhh myyyy goodness…ANOTHER epic, relaxing, spine tingling ASMR video from my all-time favorite!!! Another brilliant piece of creative art! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤

Once again superb. It made me chuckle though, as one of the part time jobs I do is cruise ship check-ins, and we have about 3 mins maximum to check people in, so I was laughing at the scenario where I decided to take 30 mins and in ASMR style. 🤣
😂😂 ASMR-style customer service is a disaster waiting to happen. Unless . . . you’re an ASMR-susceptible kid standing beside your parents with nothing better to do. Then it’s golden. ✨✨✨
Very nice. My late Father was a Pilot/Flight Engineer Instructor for Pan Am. 1966-84. As an Instructor once a month he had to fly ( mandatory )and play Captain. His favorite route was SFO to Tokyo.
This might be my favourite of your wonderful videos. I still get excited about travelling anywhere, but it’s nothing like flying as a child in the 70s. 747s, generous seating, fighting for the window seat, dressing up to fly even for 26 hours between Canada and Australia, the hostesses and pilots being absolutely wonderful with me when I flew as an unaccompanied child. Mostly there was that calm energy you replicate so well. Nowadays everyone, passenger or employee, seems to be stressed about flying. This takes me back to the golden days ✈️❤, and your voice is wonderful as always.
