Honestly heart of elynthi might be my favorite dnd podcast/livestream, the whole group has such a fun dynamic and jocat has such good improv and worldbuilding and everything and it's just so fun to listen to
Same! I have watched a good 5 or 6 campaigns, but I never stuck around after the first few sessions, like 6-8 sessions. They're fun, and some are really good and interesting, but it never really stuck with me. And seeing that I'm commenting on the 13th session, needless to say, I am loving this campaign. Fritz is adorable, Buck's awkwardness is funny, Laira is hilariously socially anxious, and of course, God King Wurd, our boss. Jo's worldbuilding is also fantastic and I am loving every character portraits and their personality. Their improv is also really really fun, and I love that sometimes they just go off on their own thing, like with Wurd and the eggs, and Jo just watches and let them have fun. All in all, this campaign has been super fun to watch and I am very much so looking forward to the rest of it!

@@Mightymajin They use it interchangeably if my memories serves correctly, but I also forgot my car and started walking home from work for a couple minutes before I realized today so maybe my memories are not the most reliable of resources. Either way, I think they used to call Fritz "she/her", but it's probably safer to just say "they/them".

The whole eating magical egg here was just such a joyful and funny moment.
Meanwhile in another campaign on YT couple of years ago this same egg straight up killed beloved NPC in a most graphic way forever scaring the audience... rest in peace, Klim...
I've seen those eggs in two other campaigns and they have killed so many people. Of all the things to roll I swur.

@@pranavr4017 Pretty sure at least one of the events I am recalling was on Arcane Arcade but I can't remember which. As for the other I think it happened on the official DnD channel but again I can't be more specific. I've consumed so much DnD in the past...what seven years? It all blends together for me. Maybe someone else can help tho.

Of all the things to roll on that table I've seen those eggs come up in two other separate campaigns. One person got the boost which resulted in everyone else eating them. It killed one PC and I think two NPCs. So when I saw them show up here I was absolutely terrified. I think your rules were more generous. I hope you can get the boost soon though. It would be irresistible to me. I love Bag of Beans. TwT

Lots of things to like in this one.
So it seems that all the dragons have some sort of major flaw that's typical to where they're from. Sacia's is too old and gentle, New Baskay's had arrogance, and now we see a dragon who's absorbed by his work and cannot spare time to enjoy life. Potentially, this means Sergi has no successor or even an option for a successor, another reason to want to keep him out of harm's way. Nice contrast between him and Fritz' dad, too. Perhaps she'll come around if she sees the work her dad has to do. Sergi printing coupons from his mouth is a fun mental image, too, I'm surprised Red didn't shout her 'on my desk on Monday' catch phrase at that.
The cave and its creatures were interesting, too, good selection. You don't see snails/whelks as monsters often enough (and if you know marine biology, you know that's a darn shame). Not as much tin-foil hat material, but that's fine. Sounds like the weather witch has attracted unwanted attention, and whoever is controlling the blot more directly doesn't want her on their turf.

Ahh cave fishers my Drow Bladesinger/monk got drunk off cave fisher bloodwine.bloodline. They hunt by being on the ceiling of a cave and dropping a strand of webbing and pulling it in when something hits it.
