Hi Dave, I bought this video, portrait of a natural footballer, Kenny Dalglish, when I was in Scotland, ( Stirling) in 1995 it was the last one left at a video store,, I still have this vhs video, absolutely luv it, and never get bored watching it,, I have a cousin in Scotland who played along side Willie Henderson in his youth,, all my family in Scotland are all rangers fans except for me,,I'm a massive Glasgow Celtic fan,, and it has nothing what so ever to do with religion, cause I'm Presbyterian,, but in saying that,, they all admire and respect and hugely like Kenny Dalglish, john Martin Sydney Australia 🌏
Thanks. Have you seen my videos with collections of his goals? Liverpool: ruclips.net/video/HzzuI7O_0jM/видео.html Scotland: ruclips.net/video/sjoXRmBBCNs/видео.html
Nice to see the best player thats ever come out of Britain pay so many compliments& recognition to the closest talent thats ever come near him-George Best
Sorry no offence George Best did nto come out of Britain, he is from the other island, Ireland, agree Daglish is a great player, but Best is as the name implies.
My hero as a bhoy growing up on the scheme For Celtic was and is my team I was King Kenny in my dreams As I scored another Hampden winner It was only his name that I would scream
The man is simply incredibe he went to every single Hillsborough funeral best player I ever saw and in an era that beats today's hands down a true legend
I saw bout 70% of his LFC games/goals. That week in 86, he scored winning goal away at chelsea, 7 days later, 3-1 v blues in FA Cup Final, player-manager. Our best ever. Thanks to Celtic also.
Kenny u were up there with best my hero spoke about you in so many word George best and he said ure talent ure born with.i think that's true u were amazing bonnie. Scotland Kenny u were so gifted as my hero best u should be so proud of yourself
@@DaveWallerLFC I know some days he went to three funerals. So maybe he didn’t get to all 96 but he went to as many as he could. Certainly deserved his Knighthood.
Denis Law doesn't particularly like Keegan, for some reason. Slags him off every time. Indeed many of Kenny's fans seem to be anxious to say he was better than the little Yorkshireman (rather than choosing Hoddle or Cruyff or whoever)
Not sure if/why Denis Law doesn't like Keegan, but it makes more sense for Kenny to be compared to the player he replaced at Liverpool than the others you mentioned.
Will never forget Scotland loosing to Peru in 1978. The Scots kept thumping high balls to Joe Jordan because Peru were supposed to be "nea good in the air." What a waste of the finest Scottish player of his generation.
I had this on VHS a kid, my all time hero, the greatest Scottish footballer. He must have cost my Mum a fortune in Celtic Scotland and Liverpool kits!
Kenny is one in a million. Also, what a treat to see Bob Paisley. A wonderful man.

Watched this over and over as a kid, inspired me so much
Great upload! Thanks Dave.
Trying to find Dalglish playing football, even in a charity/testimonial, so this was great 👍👌
Thanks. Have you seen my videos with collections of his goals?

He was a great player and is a great man, but he didn't go to every Hillsborough funeral. It wouldn't have been possible logistically.
he truly was a one off and I say that as an Evertonian
Not a Liverpool fan but Dalglish is my favourite ever player…

That 85/86 team were absolutely incredible. What a time to be a Liverpool supporter.
You've put a great collection together,I usually lose interest in this sort of thing except the purist stuff of Holland 74& Brazil 82

Class player..
Best player I ever saw!!
Kenny fantastique
Imagine that Keegan and Dalglish! Wow
I adore this man
Awesome footballer but don’t forget what he did for the families after Hillsborough. He went to every funeral. What a man.
He didn't go to every funeral. That would have been logistically impossible (not to mention the emotional toll). But still a great man.
@@DaveWallerLFC I know some days he went to three funerals. So maybe he didn’t get to all 96 but he went to as many as he could. Certainly deserved his Knighthood.
31:04 Bryan Robson - what a legend
What would be the cost of Dalglish nowadays?
Priceless.
The copyright of YNWA doesn't belong to any record company. It belongs to the people of Liverpool.
I saw him equalise at Old Trafford straight from kick off. I was in Stretford End , LFC aged 15 wi me blue best mate…
26:57 ❤
I’d walk a million miles for one of your goals…Oh Kenny , oh kenny ……
Chelsea away 86 🥰👍⚽️
Wtf were Rangers thinking??
It's hardly like they were pulling up trees at the time
As much as I idolised Kenny Dalglish, for Graeme Souness to say that his old team mate was better than Maradona is stretching it just a bit .
He said it before Mexico 86. I guess his view probably changed after that.
