Great video! Thank you! Did you not have to use the bleed valve on the transmission to bleed the clutch line after putting the new clutch master cylinder in?
Hi, and thank you for a helpful and professional video Just one question, When you seemlessly swapped to under the bonnet removing the hydraulic pipes, how on earth did you get to them? I need to change my heater motor Although I realise I have a right hand drive, and it is different to yours?!?
hey Kris i went for the master cylinder becasue its the easiest to check for first , the slave is in the transmission. in my case it was good for a minute then it went back to how it was. unfortunatly it turned to be the slave cylinder. :*(
@@charliesgarage4528 ironically, I replaced my slave and It didn't change at all(also installed new clutch wrong so the slave had to be changed 2 times 😭. Now that's all good, $650 sorta wasted, I can install the actually failed part: master cylinder. Thanks for the video
Hi im illy from Australia, i enjoyed watching your video hope you are doing well, just wondering if you can help me im having problems with my wz Fiesta ST clutch pedal also. All of a sudden i lost preasure in the clutch pedal but i was still able to drive the car as when you step on the clutch right towards the end it will still grab the clutch ( hope you understand what i mean its like the cluth pedal has no pressure and when you press closer to the floor it engages / disengages the clutch and still change gears without crunching the gears. Just wanted to ask what were the symptoms you were having with a blad slave cylinder? Were you still able to clutch in with a soft clutch? Did you have oil missing from your master cylinder reservoir? Thank your for you help :)
Yes its similar to the same problem I had. For that problem is inside the transmission. You will need to replace the slave cylinder. And if you can spend some money replace your clutch and flywheel. Or at least your clutch. And you'll be perfect. THANKS FOR WATCHING from Australia awesome!

Lol ohh uk version.. 🤔 the are close to the firewall like what separates the engine bay to the cockpit. Should be somewhere close the pedals
My is ford focus ecoboost 1.0, 2017 model same problem of clutch sticking on the floor
How do you decide if it's the master or slave affecting the clutch pedal? Or just start with the master since it's easier?

Do you bleed the clutch or brakes first
I did it after the work. Because when you unplugg the lines the oil and the oil pressure will be off
Didn't work for me
Pretty sure you installed your clutch switch in the wrong place....
Did you end up having to pull the transmission
Yes the slave,master,clutch,flywheel got replaced.
Only easy on LHD models, not UK specific RHD.
Have 2 remove steering column, under dash covers just not a 1/2 job. I'm a technician by trade.
It ended up being the slave cylinder inside the transmission.
Do a full job, not on foreign models, half job Charlie.
Thanks by the way for stopping by the channel ! Check out the rest of the vids.
