Someone else with more acro (i fly more xc) background should comment but id recommend not putting your wrists through the toggles (in any pg but especially acro). Simply hold the handles. A bad twist could lock up your hands to where you cant reach your reserve. Happy flying!
Hi Mark! It depends a bit on the maneuver you want to fly - I have some friends who lost the brake handle during a dynamic maneuver due to not beeing trough the toggles and had massive fu**up! But you are right tough, it also can happen to beeing locked with your wrist but imo its the less risk so i prefer to fly with my wrists trougj the toggles :) Happy flying!
Yes I was amazed how large the deepstall window is on the Emilie compared to the Little Cloud. But I’m glad that i learned first on the Gracchio because it teached me some precision in deepstalls. Happy flying and safe landings bro 🙌
whats your loading on this glider? how does it compare to your little cloud other than the larger deepstall range? is it a lot more dynamic? 22 seems close to a full sized serial glider
It’s around 4.6 (103kg TOW) and compared to the little cloud it’s so much easier to fly acro with that wing! It doesn’t shoot that much and has a huge deepstall window. Also much easier to do Heli :) I would say it’s almost more safe for acro then a B-Wing which are not built for that
Hello Richard, how did you manage to stay cool dirige the twist and understand your way out, did you set your hands at backfly to sort things out? Thanks!
Hi! It was actually pretty unexpected because before I was only flying wings with shorter lines (LittleCloud) and with the long lines from an acro glider and different attachment point from the Acro Harness I was not prepared that it twists so fast 😅 So basically i tried to stay calm and not to overreact and waited to see what the glider is doing. I then untwisted with the help of the outer brake. But I learned if you are really bad twisted it helps to move your legs in a way like you are running very fast. 🙂

looks much easier to heli than the Little Cloud. Thanks for sharing!

@@RichardLeitgeb I've never tried an acro glider, most of my heli (attempts) are on a delta 2 or an omega xalp3 haha. Looks fun
