I have the ZV E10 and if you shoot in 100 mbs 120 fps it will be sharper in 1080p and you can still put it into your editing program and set it to 24 , 30 and 60 fps and it will look great.
So that means I can make a 24fps video look better by shooting in 100mbs 120fps instead of shooting in 24fps? Would the edited video still be in the same speed? It would simply look like a 24fps video in better quality? Nothing would go wrong?
I think it depends on what screen you play back on.I have seen realy nice 1080 on 1080 p monitors.4K looks good on 4K monitors and scaled down on full HD monitors.
Hi thanks for your comment. I'm not sure about a6300, but in my experience, when the lighting is not good, the difference between 4k and 1080 will be more obvious. And make sure you are using optical zoom rather than digital zoom, this influence the quality as well.
Hi Sam, congrats on the new camera! I would like to recommend Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 to you, but since you already have the kit lens, the focal length would largely overlap, so I think Sony 18-105mm F4 will suit you better (this lens is very versatile, it can cover most situations), unless a large aperture is very important to you. And if you want a prime lens, Sigma 30mm F1.4 will be a good choice. If you want to have a generally understanding of which lens to choose from, check out this video, I've organized some of the best lenses in different categories: ruclips.net/video/SHU6FBVlHXg/видео.html
16mm is wider, so suitable for architecture and landscape, but if you use it to shoot portrait, the background blur won't be too obvious, and also because it's wider, composition will be more challenging. 30 mm will give you a more natural focal length (closer to what you see with your eyes; equals to 50mm in full frame). Both are great lenses, it depends on what you want to shoot. If you want a more blurry background, go with 30, and if you want to show more environment or if you're shooting indoors with smaller space, go with 16mm.
Haha I'm the opposite. I try to always shoot in 4K (unless I need a higher frame rate), even though I know I probably won't see the difference, I still don't want to risk it because I had the experience of shooting 1080p in the late afternoon when it was a little dark, and the difference was very obvious.
I switched my a6400 for a zve10. But in my experience the 4k on the a6400 is more sharp than the zve10. Also it seems it has beter dynamic range than the zve10
А вы пробовали panasonic g80? мне кажется что детализация у него гораздо лучше при 1080p чем у sony прям очень мыльно получается при 50mbps в то время как у меня на панасонике 24mbps и более резкая картинка @@ConstantineSPhotography
I can't understand why 1080p on all cameras look so ugly. PS: I'm wacthing the video in a 1080p monitor and I can easily see the huge difference between the 1080p and 4K recordings.

Is this method you mention better than the S&Q option? (That one doesn't record any audio)

Me pasa igual, el vídeo de la zV E10 en 1080 es desastroso en comparación al de una 6100

Hello, i just bought the zv e10 with the kit lens.
Which lens would u recommend ?
I am a complete beginner btw .

@@ConstantineSPhotography My budget is very much tight . Thinking of Sigma 16 mm F 1.4 .
I think Sigma 30mm would be more all-around, but of course 16mm is also a good choice and can show more environment.

Thanks for comparison.. I can tell you on a big screen TV, they both look good..
Thanks for watching! You're right, when the lighting is good, 4k and 1080p aren't that different.
I always shoot 1080 unless someone specifically asks for 4K. And in that case, they have to give me some extra hard drives. ;)

@@ConstantineSPhotography Yes. The biggest difference to me is when there's not enough light. Then 4k is much better for sure.

I've heard the same thing, but can't really do a comparison because I don't have a6400😅😅 Thanks for sharing though.
if you shoot in 1080, you won't experience any rolling shutter, which is a big point. But the detail 4k is really nice. What a struggle!
For me, the biggest struggle is to choose between slower fps and 4k details. I wish ZVE10 could have 4k 60fps.

@@sleepyreason_play I haven't had a chance to try the panasonic g80, I prefer sony to panasonic because I think panasonic has so limited lens options.

That's interesting, I'm watching on my 4k screen, most of the clips look very similar, only the low light clips look more different.
Fullhd on this camera sucks. Fullhd is obsolete.
I think it depends on the environment, when it's dark, it's terrible indeed, otherwise it's decent.
ん?違いが分からない。
for some low light footages, the 1080p has less details
4k win
