Really enjoy your channel and watching you bring the carrera back to life. I also have a 85' and every video gives me a little inspiration to get out there and get something done.
Definitely a great week on the car ,if you start to struggle getting parts try Rose passion ,they are based in France but I he delivery service is exceptional as it normally only takes around 2 to 3 days on standard delivery. Looking forward to next episode 😊
Really taking shape now…..Couldn’t see exactly with the spanner’s used on the gearbox drain, but hopefully a 6-point ring or 6-point socket and breaker bar will win out! Another great episode, looking forward to next week & MOT. Steve from Norfolk
Binge watched your series over the last few days, you’re a natural and the knowledge you show is brilliant - keep it up!

Nice work! Have you tried using heat on the transmission drain plug?
Not yet! I should have as may have mashed it now! Thanks for watching
Did you not put the locking pins into the brake pad retaining pins?
They lock when they are pushed in but they don't have the modern plastic crush washer, i think that is what your referring to? Thanks for watching
@@blandsbarnno, was there a small hole at the end of the pins? My 1972 911 had those and needed a locking clip to retain the pin in the caliper.
