  • KTM 300XC TBI pre ride review. Thanks to www.mountainviewmotorsports.ca for selling us these machines, these are by far the best 2 stroke dirt bikes KTM have ever produced. Right out of the box they feel 100% comfortable with perfect dynamics. The combination of an engine that feels like its electric, the frame stiffness that the previous bike was lacking, the suspension that is smooth and progressive right through the stroke to the footpeg location, weight distribution and handlebar placement makes it the best bike I have ever ridden. Any questions just pop them down below. Thanks to Xmagirl on her thoughts on the bike too.

    I bought a husqvarna 23 tx300 (same as 300xc) I made the switch from yamaha. Its worth the cost. By far the best bike.

    great first review and spot on with the kick stand. I know exactly what you mean, I bought a 2017 Husqvarna FE 350 and it is very difficult to kick the stand into place from a seated position. Even when I'm off the bike it is hard to kick the stand. Thanks for the nice video 👍👍

      Shes running aftermarket bars which I feel are too wide. Seems to be a sweet spot for bar width and Protaper figured that out years ago

    with that fender rubbing you can just use a washer on the back bolts. this will change the fender geometry enough so it wont rub

    Can u change sparkplug without removing fueltank?
    Or can you use the last 2 liters of fuell with new tank design?

    • @ReeceTasker
      @ReeceTasker  26 дней назад

      Id say its possible to change with the correct wrench. But probably not easy. The last bit of fuel can be used if the bike is shaking around, it needs to splash the sponge thing at the back of the tank.....not ideal thats for sure

    Wold love to ride with the gal, she's cool! As for the rad guard, I wonder if that one piece makes the overall bike stiffer the way that it's tied to the frame.

    • @ReeceTasker
      @ReeceTasker  Год назад

      Chrisma is an amazing rider, crazy skills. As for the rad guards personally I like the stock ones and have only ever damaged a radiator enough that it had to be repaired. I one piece ones wouldnt change the frame stiffness any noticeable amount as the mounting points are close together.

    I just can't see paying over 12,000 for this bike.

    • @ReeceTasker
      @ReeceTasker  Год назад +7

      The price is lower than the 2022 300xc. People pay 10k for a mountain bike that doesn't even have an engine so I guess to get the best 2 stroke bike ever produced (In my opinion) for 2k more than a mountain bike I don't consider it bad value

      @@ReeceTasker ... I don't know anyone that has or will be buying a 10,000 bicycle.
      The 2022 were not more costly than 2023. Maybe you got suckered into over paying for your 22. The 2021 were sold under retail .
      Best bike ever ? Have you looked at the fuel pump's location ? It's not at the bottom on the tank , so make sure you pop a few wheelies while rinding. The stator doesn't put out enough for radiator fan or lights . lol

      @@ReeceTasker In all fairness Mountain Bikes are also way overpriced. For exampled the 4k Trek bike I got a few months ago I bought a used one 2021 model for 2k., A week later it was dropped to 3200 for the new one same bike 2022. I agree 12k for the KTM Two Strokes is INSANE. Now with that said I just bought the 2023 KTM 250xc. But then again I am also Insane. 🤣
