Hi there, let me know which one of these methods you're gonna use next when you end up with noisy footage, or if you know about a different denoising tool that you think is more powerful, don’t hesitate to drop it in the comments below 😉
PS: RUclips's compression has caused some artifacts on the noisy clips so I hope the comparison is still clear enough.
Thanks for the great tutorial, i'm a big fan of neat video 5 , but we'll all agree that premiere needs a real time gpu accelerated denoiser , already asked for that feature ages ago...
Thanks - A really clear comparison - I'm going to try the Video Enhance AI
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome comparison. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Glad i pressed play! Salute
Great info, thanks!
you're welcome
I Love your channel! Thank you for your work!
🙏🙏
I use NEAT Noise for years, and that software is really impressive, but REALLY TASKING low-mid system, I use for 2 minute video and it will take hours to renders, and it will much more longer if you do it on composition. But, the result really impressive. My trick is to do cleanup the footage first rather do it on composed timeline, and export it on much more higher bitrate, so it will reduce video artifact.
I also try Topaz Video Enhance AI, and love the result. unfortunately prefer NVIDIA rather AMD GPU, but I want try their Video AI 4, which said improve the performance on AMD GPU.
But NEAT Noise is really good tools to help very noise video to at least very presentable condition to client. Their NEAT Image also good tool to remove noises from photo, and I use it allot for interior/architectural works.
Man can u recommend any green plugins to delete the noise from the video shot on iPhone in dark conditions?
Good comparison, and that was my conclusion as well. However as a side note. I had a video clip that I couldn't recover, shot with log footage in really dark enviroment, badly exposed. In the end after trying all these methods, I had most lucky with another tool. Noise reduction tools found in DaVinci Resolve Studio version. Just their native noise reduction. When I used all the settings at best setting I was really pleased with the results, that in that particular clip looked better than both Neat Video and Topaz, which was a surprise to me. Hope someone can use that tool as well, because its really good. Cheers!
that's really interesting, I will try it out, thanks for sharing
@@MDMZ my pleasure and thank you for the comparison video.
Davinci Resolve is a dedicated video editor programmed around LOG, RAW/BRAW and ProRes so this makes perfect sense. Applications like this are likely optimized for video thats been already compressed in camera with embedded corrections or finalized and exported in a video editor. Basically, DR is getting more data thats fresh to work with, in LOG so it requires LUTs and/or desired Color Input and Output. These plugins would need to be told your desired input and output to do the math correct. Also, DR is node based so it more advanced and precise. Adobes PP is mainly a traditional based layer system due to many of it loyal customers still using older hardware architectures, thus its a meesy resource hog.

Thank you!!
U r welcome 😊
Thank you for your video
You are welcome
Love vid brother ❤️
Appreciate it
Very impressive video Everytime......
Glad you think so
they updated video AI and it no longer has some other features he mentions in this video so if you're considering buying it for the output feature that has denoise/deblock save your money, I'm kind of annoyed since I been fighting this video quality issue for 2 days now and even when Im willing to pay i still can't find a solution that works and gives me high quality footage
It still has the Artemis Denoise Algorithm but they changed the layout to be simpler. So it's no longer called "denoise & deblock" but it can still definitely denoise, perhaps even better now. -.-
You've almost got the same rig as mine XD
Best Brother
Omg thank you! This helped a lot
Glad to hear that
thanks homie
U r welcome
I haven't tried Neat Video yet but Topaz VEAI seems to struggle with chroma noise in my experience. But it's still an amazing tool.
you might be right, probably because it prioritizes preserving details and it confuses the chroma noise for details? just a theory, I can't tell for sure 😅
Video Enhance AI also upscales footage and interpolates framerates.
So it's a much more useful suite.
I'm Kinda leaning towards that too
Definitely. But if you don't need those features at all, Neat Video would be the better choice and a better deal for just high quality denoising and sharpening.
The Best😍😍😍
🙏🙏
I already have neat video and I have a spending problem. I'm also getting into chainner and ERSGAN AI Models which are free and produce amazing results with animations I've tried. do you think I should try VEAI for noisy small faces... worth the money as an semi-pro editor but virtually only working on own material and own band?...
Hi Steve, if you plan to use it often for atleast a year then go and get it, it's definitely worth it and they have Sales now, if your plan is to use it once ot twice then I'd say u should consider other options since you'll be wasting a whole subscription
I'm wondering if you have a process to sharpen your footage after you apply Neat video? The program of neat video is not only fast, it's amazing in what it can do. But the downside is it does really soften the edges in the video and can make the footage look slightly out of focus. So if you have a best practice for how to sharpen after neat video I'd love any advice! Thanks very much!
perhaps you can try Topaz Video AI to enhance the denoised output
@@MDMZ Yeah I considered that. But do you have a decent topaz a.i. / premiere pro workflow? If I understand topaz a.i. correctly, there is no way to identify a clip within PP, push it onto Topaz, make adjustments, and bring it back into PP to continue working. Am I wrong? I'm certainly no expert on this and haven't tried extensively to test it out.
@@CTcoreytrevor yea it's a standalone software so until they make plugins for premiere pro there's no other option other than the workflow u mentioned
@@MDMZ I guess I'm just going to have to figure out a way to make it as easy as possibe but I own all the topaz products and the photo stuff they can achieve, really easily and quickly too, btw, is pretty unreal. I have video a.i. as well just haven't used it yet.
@@CTcoreytrevor I love their products and been using them for a while as well, I did make a few videos on topaz, glad you like it too
I am using neat video and I have noticed that the clip jitters or there are missing frames after rendering/exports. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Oh that's weird, try converting the source file to a different format and see if that helps ? I haven't had that issue before tbh
I have used tipard, it almost matches the neat video plugin quality.
never heard of it, thanks for sharing
You the best
🙏
Need to enhance night time video from nest surveillance camera. Can you recommend something good
it depends a lot on the footage, but try Video Enhance AI
Nice 👍
Thank u 🙏
I have studio resolve, does the topaz one work better?
I will need to try both and compare
Thanks for you video :) When I use Denoiser III and I creat Slowmotion, I have a lot of LAG, really strange... I film 1080 100fps and creat sequence in 25fps to creat slowmotion at 25%. Do you know why and how to fix that?
yeah it can be so slow, I usually disable it until am ready to render
@@MDMZ soooo bad. I need this issue to realize something "pro" and save the show
which photoshop are using you
Hi, this video has nothing to do with photoshop, which software did you mean😄
😂😅😂😅
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand Davinci Resolve Noise Reduction win
no its not
i wonder where that wolf is now
Dead
I have 1 hour long video and seems timings is not unacceptable for me😅
searched "free video denoising" and everything is payware. It's not like I was a hollywood producer. Just denoising a cheap cell phone quality video and trying to get it to look less than lame.
Did you got anything for free in pc
Right now nothing in particular but in the paid version of Davinci Pro, there's a denoiser that gives slick results@@MEME_FINDINGS
Sharpen Ai
Bro tounsi ? 🇹🇳

💪🏻
🙏🙏
video enhancer has a better quality
First here
😱
All these apps you have to pay for to use the effect, this guys wasting your time
So anything that's not free is a waste of time ? 🤔
Bro please tell me a free open source software!
