Fuel injection vehicles don't have chokes, their fast idles. same as putting your thumb on the throttle a little as your cranking it over, not recommended and some do not even start once the CPU senses that there's a change in throttle position by the TPS sensor, so its not a choke its a fast idle and don't use it while cranking it over, only after it starts should you raise the idle to ensure a quick warm up. I enjoyed the video. Thumbs up.
I had all 3 KingQuads. The 500 definitely is a better match up. Better hp & torque numbers. Has better top end speed, too, at 64mph. Will wheelie on demand. Sealed wet brake, & will start on demand. Kingquad belt will last life of quad if taken care. Great 4x4 system & excellent ride quality. Great vid tho.
The 400fsi is a rocket ship till it tops out a 56mph. The asi I haven't owned but they aren't far behind the fsi in acceleration. Top speed is the same at 56mph.

Probably nothing wrong with the Suzook. There are 3 spark plugs available and he probably needs to get the right one or adjust the valves which is a one beer job or two at most! That or he doesn't know how to use the lever correctly. He is a Honda fan boy and later on in life he will realize the Suzook was great for what it is....
i got the kingqyad 750 with the bumper package and i got to say its alot nicer than my rancher 420s bumper, the ranchers bends so easy. honda is the most reliable only had to do oil changes and differential fluids, same for my kingquad but ive had the rancher for 6 years and my kingquad isnt a year old yet so time will tell but so far there both amazing
update the kingquad shits on everything, doesnt bog in thick thick mud like honda it powers threw, then doesnt weigh 1000lbs like a can ham or polaris and can crawl in swamps like a honda, plus its just as reliable or better just bc my electric shift honda gets stuck in gear bc the computer doesnt know what gear its in and shows a dash so i have to rock it until it finally shifts.

Honda is a better mud bike because of no belt ,King is smother a lot better trail ride ,Suzuki has stepped there game up in quality on the new kings you’d be impressed ain’t no Honda but there getting closer ,Shoulda got the 5 speed king 400 with no belt for mudding btw
@@JacobOverman There are different spark plugs available for this specific machine. Based on temperature and elevation I think. You probably need a new one suited for your elevation and average temperature.
My 400si, starts in the cold just fine. It stays in the weather year round. No slipping at all, puts all power to the ground and crawls everywhere. 885 miles, I do all maintenance myself. Never had a flat, no smoking.

But the only things that have broken or caused problems is from things that were done to them. Like mine I tore a cv boot twice with a stick. And I got a stick jammed up inside the engine in a deep hole. Tore a hose off the rad. Or B-I-L rolled his and it needed a few things fixed. Neither one has blown a motor diff or axle or had any issues that wasn’t rider error.
I love Honda and it is a machine that will last forever, however, a 500 king quad will beat that honda in every way. Also, the 500 is a very reliable quad

Usually the Suzook will never start when it needs a valve adjustment which only happens at 16000 miles plus. It's most likely he didn't use the "choke" or enrichment toggle correctly.
It's most likely hard miles and lack of care. Did you see how he revved them up instantly after starting? Especially the Honda? Yea that probably doesn't break anything but that can't be good for long term reliability And probably explains why the Suzuki is burning oil when cold.
suzuki 400 asi is kinds meh same as a grizzly 450 pretty much, but the 400 fsi is a whole nother beast, better than a honda rancher bc its 100lbs lighter all same features but i had 10 gear instead of 5the honda has, the suzuki has 5 low and 5 high. plus it only needs one snorkel like a honda

Bias. Not a fair comparison, suzuki also offers foot shift, and normally cold start much better then hondas, the 500s also come with a front bumper thats superior to hondas...etc. I'm not brand loyal, I'd buy any Japanese, they're much better then the American junk.
My Hondas have always cranked right up. I now have a DCT and would still take over the Suzuki. The Suzuki bumper on 500’s is also plastic unless you opt for an upgrade.

You can get a foot shift 400 king quad. And my 500 doesn’t have power steering and it still steers fine

11000kms isn’t even broken in, had a 359 rancher with 26,000 on it should’ve kept it I will be back on a Honda one day !

Surprisingly the 400 actually is slower by a good bit. Top speed is higher but doesn’t take off as fast.

So will the Suzuki. Honda you hold front brake and on the Suzuki you hold rear
