    I bought my 2007 KingQuad 700 brand new and it’s been an excellent ATV. I’m now looking into buying the new 750 KingQuad. I highly recommend this ATV to anyone.

    i have a 2015 Kingquad 500. Flawless engine and machine thus far with 205 miles on it. have been riding a kawasaki praire 650 and a 2015 Polaris Sportsman and the Suzuki is head and shoulders above them both. The kawasaki is a bit older of course but a fantastic machine nonetheless, though it is heavy and a task to maneuver on trails where the Polaris is trail friendly and fun with the Suzuki being superior tackling the trails with confidence where as the Polaris just seems to be at their mercy. Suzuki is light and manueverable, standard steering I opted out of the power steering afraid of an artificial feel. I rode for 4 hours Saturday and had some fatigue on some nasty trails and climbing, though I am 37 and in better shape than most, very happy overall with Suzuki, affordable and reliable, I am a Honda guy but for the price Suzuki better deal with same features and reliability. Oh, also my gf and i went for a 50 mile ride two weeks ago and my suzuki used 2/6 gas tank and hers used 4/6 on her Polaris sportsman. she weighs 110 and I weigh 182.

    Avery, great updates on the newest King! Purchased my 2008 750 after riding with my father-in-law on his 2005 700cc. Having sold my Kingquad (regret that)with over 5000 miles and no major issues, will still proclaim there's not a better all around atv out there.

    I had a 93 kingquad and I loved it! Got it used and never had a bit of troubles, I loved it so much bought a 2007 Kingquad 700 I loved that just as much for the first few months then the problems started. I had it eight years and only put 900 miles on it since more times then not it would never start. Had to replace battery every few months is it never went more then three days not being started. Took it it WV to trail ride ran it one day next day wouldn't start, charged the battery got 10-15 miles down the trail and it died had to be towed back charged battery again and died on trail spent the rest of the 4 days I was there in the cabin. New battery a few weeks before trip as well. Had the magneto replaced 4 times at my expense first time was 2 months after purchasing it. I do miss it, I liked the seat height. I went Can-Am and other then it sits so tall I have not looked back once. Its nice to have a machine that starts when I press the start button. Suzuki changed the whole charging and electrical system in 2008 for the Kingquads so there had to be an issue. I'm sure the new ones are great but the one bad experience I would never buy another Suzuki again.

    • @WoZIMoo
      @WoZIMoo 7 лет назад

      It's called the voltage regulator, very common problem on the 700s. You would think you'd research the subject after replacing the battery several times. I would never consider the King Quad unreliable, it's among the more reliable machines. Mine is 7 years old and has over 8,000 miles and runs like new. It has quirks but never had serious problems like I see several Polaris/Can-Am having. I can never get myself to trade it in, all the other machines seem to have flaws the King doesn't have.

      i have a 2008 king quad 750 that often has electric problems and my buddy has a 2015 king quad 750 that does the the battery starter relay prefers perfectly clean non corroded terminals. We just always clean the terminals then they work forever if u get terminal cleaner and protector

    Agreed...why did they get rid of the steering wheel head light. I have a 2013 500axi Kingquad and I love it. I have had zero problems out of it but I wish it had a steering wheel head light. Those two headlights aren't bright enough. Suzuki should put a steering wheel light on all their atvs. .....

    Lots of things claimed to be new and only offered by Suzuki like reverse over ride. I'm a little lost by that claim as reverse over ride and other first and only are offered by other manufactures and have been for over a decade.
    Not saying a King isn't a great quad but the information here is skewed.

    I just bought king quad 400 for my 16 year old daughter and left hand brake squeezes all the way down to the grip. I tried to adjust the butterfly in the rear the upper one and cannot find the sweet spot because it continues to drag. Is the left break many for parking brake because when I squeeze it is usually goes all the way to the grip because the butterfly adjustment will not allow me to have a firm brake light the one on the right hand side.

Real long story, but it turned out it was technically stolen. Dealership where I bought it from ended up buying it back from me. I have a Polaris Sportsman 500 HO EFI LE Touring 4x4 now. I have a 2014 Kingquad 750 I love the power and torque it has. I ride it a good bit never had any issues with it. I have never got stuck and have pulled many of these bigger quads everyone says will beat all of the small machines. And first hand that's a lie of everytime I have went for rides can ams and Polaris are the two types I'm always pulling out of mud holes and shit. I just can't believe they took off the middle headlight on the 2016s like why did they do that?

    Polaris, can am and arctic cat have reverse override, and I'm pretty sure Yamaha has it too. What was that about only Suzuki again?

    • @thegrayhillbilly
      @thegrayhillbilly 8 лет назад

      +Chris Crowder My '07 Grizzly has no "reverse override" the override is for forward operating in "diff lock" mode. The Yamaha is easy enough to eliminate reverse override by disconnecting the reverse indicator switch.

    Great machines. KQs are equipped with a manual differential lock, independent front and rear brakes(for steep hills), and the CVTs have a centrifugal clutch before the primary clutch, which protects the drive belt. King Quads and Grizzlies feature roller bearings on the large end of the connecting rods along with ball bearings on the crankshaft. All features that Can-am doesn't offer. King Quads and Grizzlies are reportedly the most reliable ATVs available, but Grizzlies are notorious for overheating. Polaris are powerful machines, but when backing off the throttle at speed the engine brake practically throws the rider over the handlebars. Polaris, Arctic Cat, and Can-am have less than stellar reliability reviews. Can-am fanboys will say Can-ams are so much more powerful than the rest, but all that means is that Can-am riders will be the first to get stuck in the mudholes. The missus and I have had our KQs 750AXi/EPS for three years now and neither machine has had an issue. The lower center of gravity combined with the smoothest engine in it's class, KQs are extremely comfortable to ride all day long. You will not need to modify your King Quad in any way unless you plan on spending a LOT of time in muddy water, in which case you may want to upgrade the stock tires with Zillas or Outlaws. Be prepared for a much stiffer ride once you change tires. Do NOT change the tire size, utilize the original rims for optimum performance in all areas in the field. I'm still running on the stock tires and have no desire to replace them until they are worn down. The machines are that good.

      Bite your tongue The 66 Leadfoot on stellar reliability reviews lol, you do realize that Suzuki and Arctic Cat are somewhat cousins don't you? The AC H1 designed was based off the Suzuki engine and Suzuki provided engines for Arctic Cat there for awhile along with Kawasaki engines. My Suzuki Eiger 400 and the Arctic Cat 400 are the same engine on certain models back early mid 2000's.

    the king is a good quad but whoever is in charge shud really think about making some changes. it's the basically been unchanged since 2005. there's so much hidden performance they need to bring out in them to compare with the performance of the other brands. because with a few mods they can run with the higher cc quads flat land or in the muck. I personally ride a 05 king 700 with a lift 27" tires programmer and cluthed with Coop mod and it will hang and beat my friends Polaris and canam 800s with similar equipment

      Ryan Simpson all are great choices but since you asked for just one, it's without a doubt the Yamaha Grizzly.

    • @dankruger2890
      @dankruger2890 7 лет назад

      Ryan simpson. Wells what did you get. I would go sit on all three brands. The grizzly makes me sit back to far, the brute force handle bars are to low and the seat sits high, weird on my wrist. king quad fits me the best out of all the three by far. But I ended up buying a low mile 05 Polaris mv700. the 02 to 08 Polaris are well built, just a little under powered. My reasoning for buying the 05' Polaris was seat comfort-suspension. I owned a 05 700 king quad, but sold it in hard times and bought a 08 Yamaha that is great for shorter rides, but hurts my back because I sit to far back, my wife has 15' 850 Polaris touring that is awesome for her.

    Suzuki if you're listening...stop making that stupid 'gated' shifter, it's frustrating to use. Bring back the handle bar mounted headlamp. The display is up there anyway, put a headlamp back up there. Flatten out the running boards, that stupid raised peg is uncomfortable. They are unstable and contributes to ankle injuries. Put some actual storage in the machine. The fender storage is nice but the 'afterthought' looking bread box on the back is proof that someone needs to be fired. Finally, apply some composites to the front and rear racks. Steel racks are great to tie on to but more objects fall through them than don't.

    • @claudie746
      @claudie746 2 года назад

      The raised pegs above the flat floor boards permit fore and aft leaning while traversing steep grades, I actually like that feature. Similar to dirt bike trail riding, also allows you to lean way outward to prevent side tip in some deep holes, assists in secure foot grip, I didn’t have any comfort issues but each ride their own way. I have a 2014 KQ 500 Axi and purchased centre head light from the 750 model and installed it, as well as the upgraded side panel to access dipstick. I agree they should have kept it.
