That's great news! I love dodge tanking, and I had quite the hard time taking on some of the superbosses in Hard mode. Something something Citan clickbait something something "I liked the video just because of that".
Tbh when I first read the title of the video, I thought you were talking about agility tanking, and I was very confused. Even though I already knew about this strat, I didn't know you could make it work with any Kevesi class (granted you need +100% Risky Recharge but still). Keep up the good work 👍
Would love to see a video on future redeemed, I understand that the classes are set in stone and it seems the best way to deal with superbosses is via chain attacks, but it would be cool to see what you think the "definitive" best setup would be between accessories, manuals, and unity skills.
I had no idea this was a thing! TYSM for uploading this video! And i had no idea that Agnian arts couldn't gain recharge from frenzied combo... that's weird. This change is actually so cool, making any class with a high crits rate even better! I can't wait to to try using Lone Exile & Zephyr in the Archsage's gauntlet again whilst using crit recharge! This strat is seriously insane on some classes, and Enel needs to see this strat! Also, i think that FMJ would be good for this strat too, maybe even better than flash fencer as long as you had built up Bullet Symphony before going too ham. Although that could waste a lot of time when Flash Fencer or another class could simply be doing their max damage already.
Tanking is in such a weird place in Xenoblade 3. Agility as a stat was rendered useless. Official "Tanks" have more misses than hits, but many Attackers can be converted into tanks with ease.
fuck happen their dude.. I like this new idea super awesome.. not the typical all attacker to maximize the damage.. this is super awesome.. i got the same setup also just on the just using metal jaguar for full dodge.. doenst have that much damage but it gets the job done
@Barley I would still use chaotic memory because the hit rate cap is 97%, and all it takes is one miss and your entire additive evaporates. Chaotic memory is just a safety net to prevent that
Totally unrelated to the video, do you think you could do a "best hero setup" video? Basically the best setups with each hero? Specifically my boi Rex, that is.
It's not that good (it's still good tho), because you have to deal with multiple enemies that does a lot of damage, and when you change target you are vulnerable and can die during the short time you can't cancel your evades arts.
I've run dodge-tank Stalker. The slow arts animations are kind of nice for evasion uptime, and functional agility stat to fall back on if you're not fighting superbosses. Too bad it still sucks at holding aggro.
No, you just need 100% from any means, and enough crit rate to consistently crit (37% is enough to reach 100% crit rate on the evasion arts). I just have a lot of crit on that crafted one but a fraternal badge + thermo headgear will work fine as well.
I'm not sure if I am just doing something wrong but with the flash fencer build, sometimes the arts just won't charge back to full after getting the Awakening buff I've got basically the same accessories, 70% crit rate 55 recharge speed and the only thing I'm missing is some of the X gems and level 20 qigong Would there be anything affecting it and preventing it from working consistently?
Not having rank 10 swelling blessing could be a factor. Same with a maxed out strength support. Those two combined are 1.85x buff power making Soulhacker the defacto best buffer. The 55% crit is the threshold needed to reach 100% with just a Soulhacker crit buff, and the flat +20% crit from Beaming Edge from Lapidarist (a dlc class). Misses may also be a problem since if you miss, you can't crit. In terms of execution, you just need to bounce back and forth between Aerial Slash/Cross Impact and Jackal Claw/Hidden Thorn. The cooldown bottleneck is Aerial and Jackal, but they should charge themselves after a single cancel assuming you crit with your fusion arts. I'm not particularly great at explaining things, but I hope this helps
Flash Fencer always felt way less powerful than the designers seemingly intended, I'm glad it benefit the most from this update

Keep up the videos! Love learning more Strats for this great game
I though Full Metal Jaguar was the best evasion tank cuz Eunie is the boss 😂. Thanks Krark, yet another great guide. Absolutely love your content!

I recommend a chaotic memory to negate any accuracy issues and guarantee this set up
look what I put on for the 200 fight
@@krark Woops, I didn't notice that for some reason. Sorry

Xenoblade 2: Crit Healing
Xenoblade 3: Crit Recharge
Xenoblade 4: Crit ?????
Crit healing is a thing in Xenoblade 1 too.
Whoa. Might finally beat M&N on Hard with this!
Mio, listen! That's Noah over there!
Monolith and mechanics straight up not working name a more iconic duo. tfw they never fixed the broken pity group in 2
Remember how all food effects were broken for like a month after launch 😭

@Barley yeah you can maximize the damage by using chaotic memory to avoid misses

This game is so broken lmao love it
How would the final build fare in the Gauntlet I wonder? I'll have to test this out after TotK. Cheers!

I dont know what I'm doing wrong with this. I tried the flsh fencer and the arts aren't recharging this quickly
Where do you get Chaotic Memory?
Eternal dodge tank with Stalker, and high Damage.
(Going off of Enel’s video with solo hero Archsage gauntlet)

i really need the upgrade 55% recharge speed ?

@@conorb.1901 Don't worry you explained it well, I think it's gotta be the X gems for the buffs so I'll work on that
thanks
How do I get the pro ring I literally have everything but that
well good news I am making a video on exactly that very shortly.
0:14 make mio's what actually function?
Chain Order. (It didn't have any effect for the first couple of patches.)
Kinda wonder if this will make phase 1 of Z any more bearable lol
