Excellent examples! Thanks for the taking the time to explain the settings and for the videos. When I had small sensored 1/2.3 cameras, I never went over ISO400, but GoPro seems to handle ISO800 much better than the cameras I had.
I really like your videos. You do such a good job of clearly describing settings so much better than I've watched from so many others. I keep hoping if I watch your videos long enough it'll finally start to sink in and I'll figure out my GoPro HERO5 settings to be as good as they can be. Thanks again for showing us and really nicely done video with the music for the example settings. Do you use RUclips music or do you have a music subscription?
Roma Fedorov man im sooooo pissed they didnt get a bigger sensor. Like WHY!? if you are gonna add more megapixels WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!? You would think by now they would figure things out. Sorry i just waited for this camera for so long cause i thought the 8 was bad and just so disappointed. Do you think shooting with flat profile will help on that?
Yeah that kind of sucks that the sensor isn’t bigger on the Hero 9, maybe they’re going to add this to the Hero 10. And I don’t think that Flat picture profile will help with achieving better results in low light..
Roma Fedorov man im soooo mad they didnt add a better sensor. They thought just adding some new features would be enough to sell it. For sure the 10 will have a better sensor. The question is... do i get the 8 and just wait another year....? I dont know....
Would you recommend any alternative settings for night fishing? It should be pretty dark besides an occasional flashlight and green neon lights directed at the water to lure squid. I have a GoPro HERO 5 currently. Are the 7/8/9 low light settings that much different? Thanks!
Been looking for a lowlight settings for my Gopro7 black. Thanks man!
Thanks for watching!
Roma Fedorov waiting for your Gopro Hero 9 hands-on review.

Hey man, would you please share the song name during the street shots?
Is it normal for indoor gopro footage to be pixelated?
No, he shows how he does it in other videos. With the settings and the lights he uses.

Thank you for the positive feedback! I use no copyright music from RUclips.
Can you do one in the hero 6 pls
I don’t have access to the Hero 6 sorry, but I’d use pretty much the same settings that i used with my Hero 7. Should work just fine.
Did you shoot those without any extra lighting? They said it wasn't possible. Those are great shots!
No extra lighting was used with the GoPro shots, just the right settings.
Good evening from the north of Spain. The great video, I subscribe to your channel!
what about nighttime and at a factory etc? flashligth sometimes but very very low lighting
QUESTION: Will it be possible for gopro to fix the bad low light situation with future updates?
No. GoPro will have to put a larger sensor in their camera in order to get better low light performance.

It all depends on how you really need it.. what camera are you using at the moment and is it enough for you to use for another year ?
Thanks for sharing the info..

Nice and thank you Roma so the sweet spot for low light is ISO MIN 800 and MAX 800? I am going to try this for Christmas light drive viewing.
Sensor size same but higher resolution for hero 9 - low light will be worse I think
I will definitely test it out as soon as I’m going to get my hands on the Hero 9.
@@Romafedorov Did some mountain biking video at 1080p 24, ISO 3200 in low light using the Hero 9 - shocking quality.
🙏 Thankyou
Is wide a big difference than linear?
Yes it is.
Which gopro is better for low light shooting for cinematic material?
The GoPro 8 Is the best gopro currently for low light shooting.
Awesome. Do you know if the light mod works with the hero 9?
I think so, but you’ll have to buy the new HERO9 media mod for it if I’m not mistaken..
Clutch video
Thanks mate. Really helpful.
