I have a well lit home. I feel that I wouldn’t have an issue with lighting as much. I am wanting to start a RUclips channel, I have an iPhone 11 and am looking to get a GoPro. I like the compactness and the fact you can use it for action.
My sister got me the go pro hero 7 silver for Christmas (specifically to make my Instagram videos), and I’m grateful, so I’ve been trying to find the best way possible to get best image quality out of it (I usually film on my iPhone 11 Pro Max). This video is helpful

Try to look for a Canon M50 second hand, you might find it for the same price as a new GoPro. The Canon M50 will give you much better results as a RUclips studio camera..

Nice video. Im starting a podcast soon and need a good camera that will do a good job but trying to keep it affordable. I am considering the GoPro, but also comparing it to a Nikon p1000, a Canon m50 or SL2, and a Sony Alpha A6400. I would like to be able to see if a Nikon p1000 would do the trick because I would like the zoom capability for filming stars on a major zoom as well.
I saw in the picture in the video you used a monitor conected with your camera any monitor you recomend? Because the gopro display mod is pretty small aditionally any adapter ?
I’m using a cheap monitor from FeelWorld which I won’t really recommend. I actually need to upgrade it. FeelWorld does make good budget monitors though, if you’re going to get the newer models. If you have more budget then you can take a look at Atomos Shinobi or SmallHD monitors.. If you’re using the GoPro 7 then you won’t need any adapter to connect it to a monitor or TV, but if you have the GoPro 8/9 then you’ll need the media mod for the HDMI port.

As far as I know you can’t connect a Bluetooth wireless mic to the GoPro. But you can use something like the Rode Wireless Go system with the GoPro and the GoPro mic adapter/Media Mod..

I just started doing RUclips professionally, and some of my videos as you can see are in my bedroom, currently being painted a red color... I am just using my laptop camera and 2 lighting rigs as lighting makes great quality... But I want something that is mostly going to be used for stationary purposes, but don't need many specs, though I don't mind it... So maybe I will get something better than that gopro... maybe there is a better gopro out now... but I can't really afford to spend $1,000 on a video camera or else believe me, I would... which is why I have a gofundme lol But I am willing to spend at least $500 to get something that is great for my situation!!! Under 400$ ? You might be able to find a second hand Canon M50/SL2 for that price or maybe a Panasonic G7..

I just personally prefer 24p, you can shoot in whatever frame rate you like.

Yeah exactly I just synced the audio with the video in post. I used the Rode Wireless GO II mic.
