Hello, I am planning my holidays in the Ligurian Region and I wanted to ask if you have a preference between the West side of Liguria or the East side. I've heard there are less tourists around in the west side but I've also heard that the east side of Liguria is prettier, what is your opinion ?? 😊
Hello, it's true what you say, the East side is more crowded because there are some pretty gems like Cinque Terre or Porto Venere. If you decide to go here keep in mind that you cannot use your car, it's a narrow strip of land and you usually move around by feet or train.
The west side is also beautiful anyway, it's composed of classic Italian small coastal villages.
Anyway the top attraction of both sides is the beautiful Ligurian sea!
