    May I ask what glue did you use to glue the acrylic sheets?
    Thanks in advance.

    Can I order one? 20' tall x 10 x 10, and with a wooden base. how much would be? I like clean lines and easy to the eye like that one. My name is Oswald

    Hello, I am in the process of making a 20"x20"x20" display box using acrylic / plexiglass and it's 1/16" thick what I'm trying to figure out is what type of adhesive and tube you are using to connect all your pieces. Thank you for your time your video helps a lot.

    Hi. Nice job . I've been asked to make some display units out also. Two questions. What glue did you use and what was the blue block used to rub down the edges. Thanks

    • @FishmanEricRussell
      @FishmanEricRussell  11 месяцев назад +1

      They are held together with methylene chloride. It chemically welds them together.

    • @FishmanEricRussell
      @FishmanEricRussell  11 месяцев назад +1

      I had to rewatch the video for your second question. The blue block is a sanding block and it was just for the plywood base

    Nice build wish you could list where got the material to make it set so fast and how long did It take for each side to set before you moved onto the next I want to make one for a 1/6 car model what size thickness do you recommend

    • @FishmanEricRussell
      @FishmanEricRussell  Год назад +1

      It sets in seconds. You could get away with i/8" but You should probably use 1/4" to avoid sagging in time

    a long time back now I worked for a bespoke lighting company they made some amazing things with acrylic unfortunately I didn't spend much time in that side of the shop so I don't know exactly how they did it they could make joints all most impossible to see what I do remember is they used a few different table router/grinders to shape the joining edges for straight joints they used a lap joint with 45s at the end and shoulder like a dove joint for corner joints at various angles they used mitred lap joints most of the time they spent a lot of time filing and polishing the edges before joining them and they had walk in ovens for different things I think the one for setting the joints had vacuum the guy's at that side of the shop segregated them selves from all the people with dirty jobs but we had to help them now and then on big jobs
