film crew people can be quite arrogant and entitled when they are filming in public, ordering passers by about etc, and that guy with the walkie talkie strapped to his belt who was trying to boss a member of the public around was probably the Assistant Director, I've experienced similar myself, a film crew shooting an Amazon prime TV series rocked up in my home town in Scotland and built some outdoor sets in a public place, basically on the streets of my town, as I was walking past with my dog and decided to take a few snaps on my mobile, nothing intrusive, they weren't even filming at that point, they were just prepping everything, I had two dickheads approach me and tell me I wasn't allowed to take photos, and one of them said I would have to delete my pics as " production don't like people taking photos"......I just laughed at them and walked on my way and took a few more pics for good measure.

It is about time people realised that in a public place whoever they are they cannot tell other members of the public what to do. they even realised that you were probably an auditor and so they know that what you are doing is protecting their right to film, which is what they were doing, what if someone in the background had come up to them to enquire why they had been filmed and demanded that they delete the footage?
Its just entitlement and their belief that they are better than everyone else because they work for some broadcasting company.

It’s weird how film/TV crews think they own the streets. I had loads of run ins with them over the years in London. I took great pleasure in walking where I got in shot on my way to various places. Used to wind them up no end! Probably making an advert for Tesco or a promo for a fucking soap opera!

Little and Large once filmed a bit for their comedy show down our cul de sac. Both the lads spent a bit of time having laugh with us, signed a few autographs then got on with their filming once they'd done. Everyone happy, no issues. Nobody ordered anyone about because we felt part of it.
