Even if I find the glow magnificent, I avoid it having oily skin or I really use it in small touches. On the other hand, summer, on my shoulders, I love it. Very beautiful with this grace makeup❤❤❤

Very pretty! I love that no makeup makeup look, especially with that “lit from within” underglow. I’m curious as to how the Chanel No. 1 compares with their Les Beiges Healthy Glow primers, as I have the Frosty White and Icy Beige. Also, I really like the Chantecaille Sea Turtle warm eyeshadow palette on you. It definitely enhances the look of your eyes. I purchased the cool palette, but I might also have to purchase the warm palette as well.

Grace, first of all, I have never believed in trends. I will continue to wear whatever I like, no matter what others are doing, as long as it's age appropriate for myself. I've always been an individual. From seeing the two Chantecaille Palettes, they did look nice and classical. It surprised me at how sheer the deepest shade is. I was about to mention Mediterranean, when you held up your palette! That will always be a favourite of mine, just as Givenchy's 9.07 L/E Holiday Eye Palette that maybe coming out again. It also has those 'Mediterranean' shades, yet 9-pans in all. It's a very soft palette with only one matte, yet that's not needed most of the time when going for softer looks. I'm sure you'd like it. I just picked up the L/E Chantecaille Glow Blur Powder, in the mint packaging with that gold looking see creature(?) on the top a few days ago on the second hand market, although brand new and boxed. It was an amazing price too and was simply meant for me! I also scored the Cheetah Single Eye Palette. I still get upset that Chantecaille won't deliver to us in Australia and New Zealand, yet every now and then they do have products that I'd like. We have only one store that stocks the brand here and they are very far behind with the releases and no sales. My only other option is the UK and eBay, although the latter doesn't help much with new releases. There are many in our countries that would like better access to Chantecaille and I can't understand why they insist on ignoring such a market? I had to laugh when I first saw your hairband which looked as if you were about to hit the ski slopes! If only!! On this day last week, it was forecast to be 40°celsuis, yet luckily only made it to 38°. Thank goodness for my new split-system air conditioning unit!🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨
That really stinks with the shipping! 😟 Beautylish shipping is expensive, right? Selfridges shipping deal is great, but they don't really have sales or discounts on their luxury brands. I am guessing Chantecaille doesn't meet or exceed Australian SPF standards or they just don't want to submit to the tests.
This might sound odd, but Chanel Australia has the entire 10 shade range of Chanel Radiant Moisture foundation which is discontinued everywhere else, and we only ever got 3 shades of it! So yeah, I've had to tap an Aussie buddy to go get like 3 things last year from Chanel for me. 🤷🏻♀️
🌟 I resist the idea of trends too and opt for more timeless styles. These particular trends in highlighting are all things I’ve tried and been successful with in the past & they just happen to be trending now 😄 it’s kind of like cargo pants. I’ve had the same pair for years and they keep going in & out of style 😅 I figure if I hang on the the things I love, eventually they’ll come back into style 🌸
Wow, I did not realize how kinda pink-y the WA liquid is. I have one but not opened yet (using up the compact version which is really warm). I think the Chanel would be better for me too, the WA glow I didn't realize and so the WA might be better only on my dry cheek points. Anyway, I don't think I have seen a comparison of these two before, so thank you for that! ❤
I mainly use the Le Blanc light creator for glow, but it is literally a white shade. I am very fair and nearly all foundations are too deep for me. I color-correct foundations with Haus Labs 00 shade, which has a beautiful finish. The Le Blanc has a white cast at first, compared to Chanel's sold-out Frosty White primer which doesn't have as much of a cast.
I've been looking at the Jones Road new neutralizer pencils, because they look so good on everyone! But their regular pencils are too deep so I'm hesitating gambling money...I will probably do it and just use it as eye primer if the shade is too deep 😅. Just because Jones Road I really love their formulas for the comfort aspect even if the shades aren't a great match.
This series using less heavy makeup is very appealing for me, utilizing glow or strategic concealing with bronzer or blush rather than caking up my entire face with flat foundations.

🌟 thank you! Great question! One thing I’ve noticed with sheer yet lighter shades is they can look really stunning on more rich skin tones. I think it really depends on the aesthetic one is going for. The model in the images has a beautiful rich tone and you can see how they look on her.
