- "Stranger Things" hasn't been around long but it already has a loyal fan base. CBS News contributor Jamie Wax spoke with the creators of Netflix's hit show.
Stranger Things is one of the best show i have ever seen. the casting, settings, and story telling is second to none. don't spend one second listing to anyone else's opinion on what you should do or where you should go with it. what you have put together is the kind of thing that doesn't come around very often.
personally i felt David Harbours' performance and his character are under appreciated, after the kids, he is my favorite character (until a certain event, i don't want to spoil anything for anyone) after 11 he is the one i have a ton of questions about. the one thing about him, more then all the rest, i would like to know (and maybe i'm just reading to much into it) is where his familiarity with MK Ultra came from (in this day and age it's a forgone conclusion that it was a running project and probably continues to this day under another name),but in that time, with no internet, in rural Indianan, would have been more of an urban legend or dismissed as a conspiracy theory, but he seemed to recognize it as a possibility. maybe it's nothing, but there seems to be more to this guy then we've been shown so far.
i recommend this show to everyone and cna't wait for season 2.

I really think season two should go more big picture with 11's powers and the government experiments on not just her.
If there must be another short term existential threat I would love to see a differently gifted individual(s) sent after 11 by Brenner's superiors to clean up his mess.
I got goose bumps when I saw the Doctor Strange trailer and thought about those two worlds colliding.

He's not really correct that the 80s generation is the last that grew up without the internet or cell phones. We had Internet in our house around '98 but it was dial up and very rudimentary. Dad had a cell phone in a bag around the same time but pocket cell phones didn't become a thing till I was out of school in '02. I'm sure it was different for different areas of the country but internet and cell phones still had very minimal influence in the late 90s/early 00s.
