@@CuntLucifer They mention in another interview that they had been pitching a found footage movie that they actually didn't like but they knew found footage movies were big. Sometimes people think going for "what's hot" and trending is the way to go, but it's not. Too much of a business mindset rather than the creative/artistic one that brought oneself to that pitch meeting

Paul yeah you kind of lucked out just by being american. I live in italy, and even though you might think not, movies and tv here are not that big. And nobody in my life shares my interests. And I was never talented enough or sociable enough to make it
Im from argentina and believe me ... its really really hard reach that point of be a producer / director the united states its the only place when u can say .. ok now i can focus on studying something related to the world of films .

Now that women can’t control our own bodies, we can be shot anywhere at anytime, have no right to/can’t afford healthcare for _after_ we’re shot and need medical attention, plus all the human rights and civil liberties Americans won’t have access to in the coming years… kind of makes it difficult to be happy. I am happy we have some fantastic entertainment to distract ourselves with, that’s for sure. Stranger Things 4 is AWESOME

Well I’m listening. I’m 39 and I will be 40 in October. I haven’t made it to the White House I’m Canadian but when I called the Canada grants council for the arts for music, The representative was really nice. She gave me a “for your consideration” answer to my question about whether I was deluded to continue (not that I have been really pursuing it. I have been making and composing music forever, but this is not me trying to talk about music right now.) pursue music for this long and not unionize myself. I may not have the type of discipline that these guys as well as probably most of the room has, which is prerequisite for being able to actualize the gift… I have issues with being professional because of my own insecurities, right? As I’ve let go, I started to appreciate things again though. I feel like I have more in common with people who are able to make their vision something other people can see regardless of age. I thought Matt or Ross was going to say, “ what can we teach you? We are so freaking young ourselves!” But I guess, I keep forgetting that yeah 1984 is now 40.

I’m sorry I just wanted to share this. I may be a bit inappropriate here. I don’t know what to look is CI definitely Got very overwhelmed by all of the things all of the things right? But again being a filmmaker you need to have this ability I mean I guess it depends right and telling stories is so important and it’s something that once you get to a point when you’re more mature, you realize it stays with you and never goes away. Personally, I think piano. Prodigy are really awesome because I don’t know. I just think they’re great and young storytellers two are really wonderful. I usually burnt heads with writers because I’m super extroverted and super annoying. And I’m not trying to self deprecate I’m very loud. But one thing that’s great is that they’re such a drive but at the same time you really Your life is a moving song you know. That’s it. I’m so happy to see people that might find me really weird on the streets or maybe not on the streets but just like I’m a bit eccentric or a bit socially awkward they don’t see that when you’re working, they’re just looking at the work and that’s a place a lot of us can feel Safe to exercise our artistic integrity if that makes any sense.

At least Australia makes some of their own TV. I've known film people in both the US and New Zealand (kind of similar), and I think it's easier to make it in NZ. Like, you won't be as big obviously, but you can still do something.
